It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

Any domain that has not been renewed is open to anyone to buy and use as they see fit, so congrats on that sale! I don't remember ever owning that particular domain but I have been in and out of thousands of them over the years, so it is quite possible. I don't drop domains very often. If I let one go it is because I have no use for it myself and am no longer interested in holding it, so I am fine with letting it go to someone else who might have an interest in it developing it or holding it for resale. We all have our own ideas about the potential of the domains we buy (or see others buy) and we all have some that win and some that don't work out. As far as my fellow investors go, I am always happy to see them get a good return on their investment!

When I first heard about Bitcoin, some guy on one of these forums claimed that Bitcoin was 50 cents just last week and it is now over 1 dollar today. He said he bought some at 70 or 80 cents and it is worth watching. I thought that I missed the boat when it hit $5.00 +. Kicked myself when it hit $100. Did the same when it hit $500.
My point is - You never know. It took many years to hit $1000 per bitcoin, but even then it was a real bargain. It could all crash like a wayward rocket some day. Do not think that domain names (including .com) can't become obsolete and be replaced by something else. Technology usually leaves many things behind in it's wake while advancing to the next great innovation.

seoexperts or seoexpert ?
My opinion it's worth at least 1000 $ for end buyer & i think they will accept ( just my personal opinion )
At 500 $ if you make a counter offer they will accept immediately

Quick.US at $4,888 is the #12 sale on the latest bi-weekly DNJournal Top 20 Country Code Sales Chart. The buyer is QUICK HELP SAS, a company based in Bogota, Colombia. They haven't changed the nameservers yet so still waiting to see what they will be doing on it. https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2021/20210915.htm

That is very good to know and hear. Shows the .US usage is gaining more depth and recognition - not just limited to one-word dictionary names and 3L sales.

I think I am going to try and build an outbound marketing team, just to focus on pushing .US domains. There could be huge (untapped) market out there as not very many can get there hands on premium .COM domains and would be happy to spend part amount on premium .US domains. Thoughts?

I don't know. It is hard enough to sell .COM proactively.

In this case you have to sell the party on the term and extension itself. It would really depend heavily on the domain quality and pricing.
