Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

There are certain requirements in order to do things. For instance to drive on a public roadway it generally requires a valid license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, wear a seat belt, and following the rules of the road.

That doesn't require your consent.

But a just analogy .. because when you say .. Push comes to shove “ that means people are taking the vaccine because they are being threatened .. not because they voluntarily want the vaccine … so that is forced inoculation.. if the person has a very bad reaction or dies from it .. and says I did it because my boss was taking $200 from my paycheck .. or my boss told me I would be terminated if I didn’t take the vaccine . then the person who forced the vaccine is responsible for that persons injuries … huge lawsuits are coming .. hopefully criminal charges over all this … it is wrong .. both psychically and psychologically

I see Joe Biden’s signed executive order on the covid - 19 mandate is a temporary order .. OSHA can only require an emergency temporary order as well … So it’s sit and wait it out instead of doom and gloom .. because there is no way in hell that such a bill will be signed by both the Senate and Congress into law …

Those are talking about 'could quit', not 'did quit'. How does that lend itself to being part of any existing nursing shortage?

My wife's a nurse. She says them quitting could be seen as a good thing in ways - it could help get rid of some of the dumbasses in the profession.

Part of the real reason there's a nurse shortage is because of the mostly Unvaccinated filling up the hospitals.

I don't understand why people who are vaccinated are so worried about people who are not.

why would I take it for free when their are numerous covid vaccine opportunities of lotteries .. college scholarships .. right down to good old cash … how many times has anyone seen that with a vaccine through out history ?? First story form apnews, a liberal rag, offer 100% anecdotal evidence; some by people not running hospitals, or referring to things like cancer screenings being delayed.. buy referring the the first outbreak.

They were delayed because all elective procedures were eliminated and staff resigned to handle the wave that never came. Now hospitals are running at near full capacity which is normal.

Watched a hospital administrator talking about pre-pandemic capacity was 95% at his hosptial. I'll try to find the video in my history.
