Making a living from domain parking

Hi everyone, this is my first post here on namepros even though I've been following this forum for over two years now.
I have some domains parked and I've been making some money with them, especially those with high epc/cpc (because 1 click or 2 in a domain of 30$ is better than 20 clicks in a domain with a cpc of 1$ – depends on the traffic too, niches, etc.)
My question here is the following [and to give me a little motivation too], does anyone here make a living exclusively from domain parking or could you live if you wanted to?
If you could complement that with some screenshots I would appreciate that ; What I'm asking is for high clicks, monthly revenue, etc.
Sorry for any mistake, I'm Portuguese (but raised in Andorra from 2 to 12 years old)
Thank you all for your generosity and transparency

Yes, just redirect and that's all.
And I already said above, that very often ZeroClick beats Google feed (archaic PPC model), with even a few times higher RPM.

I did not know that
Thanks for your valuable contribution

So, zero click is when someone types your domain and get sent directly to the specified website?
Will this be as profitable as one or two click?

Zero click redirects to an ad page of the advertiser on another domain. From there the visitor can click to a website or fill out a form or make a direct purchase. It rarely directs to the main website to protect it from the same problem, devaluing the domain.

The problem is not so much the zero click model. It is the type of advertisers. For example, on Macs you frequently get one specific type of advertiser for virus software the makes their pages look like Apple site and uses domains that includes apple in them. And frequently changes the domain for obvious reasons. Very deceitful. Very spammy.

Many parking companies rotate the types of ad pages delivered and the algorithm picks which one works best. I think ParkLogic takes it a step further and rotates the parking providers. I am only guessing from the info I read.

But as nice as that sounds, none of it will not work unless your domain gets significant quantity of quality traffic. Yes, it is not just a matter of traffic, but the quality of traffic. The algorithm is complicated and tries to match the traffic to the advertiser's target audience.

Reading what you wrote I remembered something, why the current model of parking companies pay us when someone clicks on our domains has never changed to we will only be paid if that click(s) converts?

I think a few months ago, a couple of my domains using zeroclick were blocked in the chrome browser. I lost most of my traffic and had to unparked these domains for a few months before the blocked expired.

I have nothing against it but there more risk to using zeroclick compared to traditional parking.

I have used ParkingCrew ZeroClick (Tonic network) for years and never had any blocks.

Don't forget to disable Email monetization, it is really dangerous.

High CPC domain names may bring cash by parking them. I need to know which site pays the most for parking?

That's not like that, because you need quality traffic, among other important metrics
In relation to parking companies, I think is a matter of testing
But what I been noticing is that nothing new has appeared in the market, which is a pity because competition force companies to distribute more revenue to us, for example

Silly question.

I've never done parking. I see that a domain I acquired recently, porn / deep / fake (dot) king gets a good amount of visitors per day (would equate to a few thousand per month).

These could be real visitors since it's a highly searched term EMD.
Question is, how do you know? What if you park it and get suspended because of bot traffic?
Obviously, you would turn off zero click but I'm not sure if these bots are able to click on links and how that would affect me?
All in all, how do you park it safely? Thanks.

You can look at Trust Flow rank to check the quality of your domains.
Parking companies automatically will filter bot traffic. Someone (like Sedo) can remove the domain from your account for bad quality but this is the exception.
So all you can do is TRY

I mean, it will be difficult to make money with parking, except you find a new way...

well.. aren't u using old ways to make parking cash?

HeHe... a living from parking, not in my neck of the woods. :xf.eek:

I guess it would be possible in one of the poorer countries of the world where a hundred bucks is a lot of money :xf.cool:

sure everything depends on yer lifestyle that's a given... if u need 100k per month to do yer thing then some earn this and more from parking..but maybe 1%

like everything else in life..selling names..parking etc...if u dont know what yer doing ..dont put in effort..hours..often cash to learn..u will make nothing.

parking companies are doing fine..and will for long time...

u see the nice thing about owning parking company is u can do whatever the hell u plz with peoples revenue...and no one ever will know... if their monthly profits drop they can take more from u...will u ever know? no ..never. all u see is yer little supposed rev and click value on screen.

owning parking company ..now that's a real winner.

I wish I could make 4 figures a month...
5 figures would be a dream
Do you know someone who makes these values?

I just hope domain parking stays around for a long time, it's a historical part of domaining

yes I've come across some who make upto 5fig month.. but such sample like on np is only fraction of worldwide people.. 4fig per month is again across whole world relatively big number.. of course small number compared to those who make nothing or almost.

but as I wrote above.. the real winners are the few parking companies.. they will drop yer revenues way before they let theirs drop..cause the best part about owning parking company is . u will never ever know what share they took..what share they can take.. what share they should take.. etc

4fig a month I also thought it was common, but 5fig is incredible
There should be more parking companies, maybe the competition would make them more honest
Or else we have to develop some of our domains

well we only have so many wake hours in life... we can spend them selling names.. or developing..or learning parking.. and learn a third of each craft..or learn one craft real well..

I think Covid also changed how companies spend their money regardless of traffic.
