I look at like this we all know Vr which for many years has been referenced on various shows and movies . Me personally i like to see someone putting thousands into a term still maturing plus many of us never knew it was available .

Will we see anything from apple in 2021 regarding Arsmartglasses be interesting to watch

https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/www.macrumors.com/guide/apple-event/amp/
Apple has told us many times that the next release in our field is going to be the mixed reality HMD.
That's A VR headset with pseudo AR via cams.
That, at last statement from them, would be expected in the spring.
Smartglasses are to follow 2 years later.(true ar device)

But honestly, I don't think many can hold dates so be prepared for some disappointment delays as there is a shortage of some chips.
While that surely has hampered production, it would be unknown if it also has had a effect on development.
I would say we know more than we ever have, but it's still not enough to nail down dates.

I believe Ric Schwartz owns Smart Gasses. I like XR, but it's unnecessary in that domain. It may be hard to sell for 5 figures... But definitely a 4 figure name IMHO.

Well,
My buying and holding holodeck names is a matter of waiting till the market gets a bit more saturated.
For me, they all are about a software or online experience that I deem as a brandable 'product'.

As far as value... like any other name.. it depends on how crowded a particular space becomes and demand for a branded software experience name becomes.

HolodeckVacations FitnessHolodeck HolodeckSports CasinoHolodeck etc some adult as you might imagine.
It goes with a broader theme for me about 'virtual places' and things to do in them.

My pricing will be dictated by market activity as it matures over the next 2 to 4 years.
Would like to see some earlybird sales before we get there.
But the nice thing about these names are they are not tech specific and a broader appeal.
As I have been pointing out, the start-ups have been appearing. But we are a long way from saturation.
While I cut my holdings in half over the last 3 years, some sales and mostly drop's, none of these names did I part with.
How is that for faith.

I had a few low 4fig offrs up to i think 3k on my cyber,.,glasses...com

so his is def high 4fig..more like 5..if he will be patient like me..I wont sell mine for less than high 4fig.

He does.
So, there is only one smartglasses.com
That makes it a category killer.
So, how many people could use this domain and make a profit over paying 6 or 7 figures for it...

The answer is just 1.... the one that owns it.

The rest of anyone who think they need the keywords to profit in their space will have to settle on
smartglasses.club .io .info .tech .one and arsmartgalsses xrsmartgalsses etc etc etc

How strong (wide) is the field is the bet. How much money do they have to spend is the payroll.

edit... I should add that we are a long way in seeing smartgasses high payout. Not that some might sell for surprising sums, but we have yet to have 'smartglasses' in the marketplace.

Cyber Glasses is a good name! Cyber has a kind if dated, vintage feel to it as a brandword, but I think it can still work...

I have MV+Glasses and MV+Headset dot com.

If MV picks up more adaption as a brandword I think they'll have high value. I'm not holding my breath, but let's see 😏

yeah..its more than vintage feel..its actual vintage term.. but good cyber names keep selling and sold by tens in past.. and most likely will keep selling..cause vintage keeps working for many people ...clothing or domains hehehe

I actually got this on np for like 100 few yrs back.. I rarely just not handreg names so the few I own I plan to keep long..like vrship..vrfemale..flipvr... qtm,co.....well.. maybe 15 total ...half vr I think ...

Yup... As you already know, I pointed out in the Metaverse thread that you are the first known domain speculator to to showcase a domain with MV to represent Metaverse.

I come 3rd place after the guy who showcased MV Casinos. But I had MV domains months before he regged it. All of this doesn't matter of course and we'll see if these speculations pay off. I can't underline enough that not only am I not holding my breath for MV and not even my Metaverse names. There are other terms that make just as much sense or more sense depending on the use case 😏

Hyperverse was a thing a few years ago. Could come back, who knows!

Anyone know if any solid evidence of Apple's plan for any Metaverse like services? It wouldn't make any sense for them to release XR hard wear without infrastructure. While that doesn't necessarily mean they need to make a Metaverse it sure would amplify their existing ecosystem if they had some experiences, that are small if not bigger. They ciukd perfectly get by without making virtual worlds but I would say it's bad management if they didn't have not just a virtual means of interaction with their service but at least a few experiences that are practically relevant to their services, like virtual meetings and virtual event watching services with a ticket gateway... Virtual app store is a given but beyond that, maybe I'm getting a little ahead of my self.
