Is there any blogger like Wix that allows someone to have a custom domain and can run adsense ads?

I'm not familiar with blog sites, I own a Wix blog but it costs like $18 a month. I was wondering if there are any free options other than coding it from scratch?

Yes, there is.
DNHat WLM - domain marketplace setup with blogging facilities.
https://dnhat.com/features.php
Not WP.

Is it free? It looks interesting but it shows this on the site, there is a free trail I see, but if there is a free version of it or anything else, I'd like to know.

I ask because I saw this on the site..

How to use
  • You have the option to purchase a copy of DNHat (WLM), download and install it on your web server to manage your domain portfolio and setup your own marketplace. You pay only once for the licence.
OR
  • Simply Sign Up for the hosted solution on our server for your portfolio management, set up your own marketplace and start selling your domains within minuites. Nothing to download, Nothing to install. You pay a small fee monthy or yearly.

CashVow subscription plan with hosting is free. Only condition - you 'll display our ads on the pages of your website. Earnings from ads 50/50.
Setup fee can be waived if you'll write at least four articles a month.
Generally, in business nothing is free.

Okay, I may look into that. I appreciate the offer but I'm curious if there is any for free at all or not.

There are a number of free blogging apps you can download. But those that are hosted for free will require a sub-domain. If you want to have a blog on your custom domain you will need hosting and install the app. You can get it cheap, like a macchiato a month. If you expect your blog to get significant traffic then you will need to upgrade.

Blogspot is free and they let you use a custom domain for free IIRC. They also let you run Adsense.

You can also get a nice WP hosting for 5 USD a month.

$18 a month, that's $216 a year, Y dont you just buy shared hosting from namecheap and use wordpress. That will be way cheaper, if you are looking for a secured and hassle free, simple blog then its blogspot, a domain can be added for free you can run ads as well. I use hostblast costs me 10$ year for hosting, not the very best but does the work.

I have never used Wordpress before, unfortunately. I never even knew it had so much significance or I would have learned it years ago, now it's a bit harder to learn stuff with how crappy Google is due to SEO shit covering the first 5 pages with tutorials on blogs about the most basic shit that requires a lot of unneeded reading just to get a small amount of information you already know and wasn't what you were after.
