Anybody know what happens to a name after the auction ends without a bid?
This is from the website:

What happens to my domain after the reverse auction ends?
Your domain will be added to the β€œBargain Domains” section for an additional 7 days. If your domain enters redemption or you don’t wish you have it listed there, please remove it using the removal option from inside your NameLiquidate.com/selling page.

What is the bargain bin section? Is the reserve no longer contingent? Where is the bargain section? What are prices dropped to?

Thanks for any help from anyone, @Rob Monster, you out there my friend?

I think the Bargain Bin is $9....but not 100% sure.

I am just learning about selling on NameLiquidate myself and haven't actually used it yet.

That's right.

After the 7 day auction, there is a bargain bin. You can see the dropdown:

Also, there is push notifications:

https://nameliquidate.com/profile/push-notification

And I believe we deployed a feature for setting keyword filters so you can get notified when new inventory arrives that matches your filter.

Thanks Rob. Does a reserved name in the regular auction automatically drop down to $9, without reserve, in the bargain auction?
So a name with a reserve of $800 is now on auction for $9?

Reserve is reserve - so even post auction, it would idle at the reserve.

Why don't we have the option to get auth code after winning a domain at nameliquidate , it just auto transfer to epik account

Because they run a business and need to make money just like us domainers ;)

It's just uncomfortable, I do have a few domains with them but for example I won a name registered with say Dynadot , there is no option for me to keep it at Dynadot ... they just auto slap the transfer fee on it and force moving to epik+renwal.
there are times I don't want to renew yet or want to use a feature on another registrar πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

I agree. I run into the same issue occasionally and sometimes just pass on the domain because of this.

On a serious note, it has to do with the fact that they want to move domains to their own registrar to grow volume in registrations. They don't make much money on the auctions although with enough volume it does add up obviously.

Another reason is automation. No need for human intervention on their and the sellers end when a domain is purchased.

The logic of having domain transfer happen at the time of fhe auction win is that it allows us to enforce the sale as there is a chance of registrar. This assures the buyer of clear title. Our escrow process is the same.

Keep in mind also that most of the domains sold on NameLiquidate are expired or expiring. These are domains that are essentially sunk cost to the seller but may appeal to the buyer.

During the bidding process, the system is checking hourly to make sure that the domain is still unlocked and that there is a valid auth code. This maintains the integrity of the auction.

Overall, I am really encouraged by the progress at NameLiquidate and see it maturing into an important industry brand. Recently @Intelliname began leading featured listings like here:

I have seen the preview of tomorrow's list and it is among the best list yet:

"most of the domains sold on NameLiquidate are expired or expiring" right but then there are some with a month plus hence me suggesting why not have an option for auth code on those with 14days plus
