GoDaddy is front runinng?

Hey Team,

I've noticed a very weird thing. Once you do the bulk check with GoDaddy, especially with popular words, it gives you a list and you start checking it, only to realize that some words that are shown as available for hang-reg - are actually taken!
Once you refresh, or load again the same list - now, when you get correct info. I was wondering what are the reasons here. Can't get rid of the idea that they use some sort of automated tool which registered names within milliseconds, once it meets certain criterias.

Thanks for your thoughts! Also, if there are good alternatives to GoDaddy Bulk check - let me know (aware of NameBright).

When you check the whois, is the registration time indeed "within milliseconds" of that lookup of yours, or the names were registered long before that?

I've seen both, what to me makes it even more strange. Sure, it's possible it's GoDaddy's glitch, that's why checking community's opinions on this.

I don't know about front running, but the search feature is quite painful. At least it must be for the average user, to continually be presented with domains that simply aren't available, I don't see what the point in it is but most registrars show the status of the domains before you click them, unlike at Godaddy.

don't most registrars have a bulk feature? dynadot, epik etc

Dont use godaddy. Simple. Namesilo has great bulk checker. I run my wish list often. Maybe its crap, but once while a name does get taken off the list.
Godaddy has to many issues to front run on reg fee names.

Change is hard for many.
Just look at how many still using Net Sol ; )

No, not as far as I know. And I am on both, Epik and Dynadot. Just a regular checker, not bulk. Will try NameSilo, how @MasterOfMyDomains suggested.

Thanks a lot, didn't know about it. Dynadot I am not using that actively at all, but on Epik I have big chank of portfolio, but haven't seen it before.

It could just be buggy. Namecheap shows mexico.mx is available to register but when you go through checkout, it shows it's taken.
