This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

dont they make that compulsory?

I thought this was a standard listing. So they accept .XYZ as a premium list now..

absolute impossible sale, you are the xyz guru congratulations and more! :)

well it's all about roi end of year for all of us...but I do hope the large xYz folio strategy is working for this seller

sadly that cannot be known based on posted sales :)

I say this not to mislead newbies or others thinking this is doable with 100 or 1000 xyz names

Same can be said for other domainers with large portfolios (we are talking of thousands and tens of thousands here) regardless of tld

yes..that's why I said...for all of us..

my point was that my sales or anyone sales mean nothing if down the road end of year.. after renewals etc... our roi is none..or weak..

again for all of us.

I understand that and I agree with you.

However, my statement was in regards to your last paragraph. Naturally, we get excited when we read about high ticket sales from Mike Mann and Rick without thinking about the high overhead on their large portfolios. And those are even .com investors. So, newbies shouldn't be misled by high ticket sales whether .xyz, .com, .org or otherwise.

Congratulations, mind sharing what was your listing price?
$17,2k

that one is a headscratcher.
Remove last S (& the domain should fw there soon [except if there is no need for fw] up to brand def. company)

yeah..the fact nobody took it for 10 on np says it all.
I can afford to run yet another semi-T1, one word domain name auction $10 start @ NP & nothing will change. I run a bunch of test-alike auctions and there's something NPs need to sort out ... separate threads for T1 1Word auction, T2 1Word, T1/T2 2Word etc. Now, ppl get lost .. cos of too many wtf names.

Regards

Afternic BIN, hold time 5 months.

Edit: Correction, this was a fresh handreg actually, not a drop.

Another one just came in:

Untitled.png

Afternic BIN, drop reg, hold time 10 months.

Needed note here: This is a market price / highly discounted one. Retail, this domain is solidly in the xxxx range. But due to portofolio size adjustment (trimming), I'm okay with this price and expecting more such sales next. It pays for other, more valuable .coms today.

Yet another small one just came in:

Untitled.png

Note: Last 3 weeks sales (mine and reported on NP) have been quite weird.

No xxxx range sales for me; but I'm having lot of xxx ones, and def happy with $500-1k per day in small sales. But monthly sales stats on NP are weak; reports here are also strange, few mid 4-fig value sales, huge 5-fig sales instead... puzzling. What on earth is brewing.
