Hello, domainers!

So recently I started my journey in the domain flipping world, and after multiple failures to hand register domain with some value I decided to try out the back ordering "technique". As I see DropCatch.com has the highest success rate at drop catching but the $59 fee seems a bit high for low-value domains.

So the question is, what are some good back-ordering services with good "success rate to price" ratios for low-value ($xxx) .com domains?
Ill be mostly targeting GEO domains and keyword domains.

Also as a developer, I thought about writing my own app for drop catching using one or more of the free APIs out there. I'm aware that no custom app can beat the speed of popular drop-catching services but maybe it would be able to catch some low-value domains.

Let me know your thought on that too.

Cheers!

Dynadot does ia good job by cathing the Tier B (by this I simply mean not top domains), it's 21 euro a catch.
As for soft, this guy already created such program: https://domainsoftwares.com/ , but he claims it's best working with other than dot com domains. But talk to him!

DropCatch has a discount backorder area where you can ask as low as $10.
Epik.com has backorders for 8.49 for NP people but they aren’t as successful as others.
You won’t get any lower than those 2 options.

First time hearing about the DropCatch discount option. What's the catch? Is the success rate lower or something?

There is also Sav that won't charge you but their reg fee ($6.95 for .coms). BUT there are some caveats:

1) They're still clunky and some users are pissed (note, I still have a ton names with Sav; Edit: 10k+ names, been OK for me in general)

2) Backorder speed is not the greatest; Edit: still catches non-competitive names

3) if multiple orders are placed for the same name, it goes into an auction, which is also valid with DC discount club etc.

But hey, you get to have some domains at the lowest prices.

Never heard of Sav before, but it seems like the perfect service for me right now. My starting budget is pretty low so I need to get some cheap domains and start that cash flow going.

Also, any tips on how to get it going are appreciated.
