I would personally drop this. The .io extension is used by startups, and I can't see a startup using the name of a COVID medicine.

An international non-proprietary name (INN) administered by the WHO. So looks like you’re off the hook :). Now whether that works as a name or with the TLD is another question. How might this name be used and how lucrative?

I remember checking and it being the generic name. Didn’t discover any trademarks for it as well.
It’s been a very commonly used word lately so maybe there’s a developmental idea to be born?
