The only way to end this Pandemic is if the majority of the people around the World get vaccinated.

It's amazing that several vaccines have already been developed in record time and thus far they all show very good results as far as creating some level of immunity against Covid19 without causing any major side effects and supposedly even if those who have been vaccinated come down with the disease it won't be at the more severe levels that require hospitalization.

There are many companies that are working on the vaccine although the top contenders currently are Moderna, Pfizer, and AstraZeneca:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...d-vaccine-heres-what-we-know-them/6308571002/

I personally would be first in line to get the vaccine as I am in the older category with some history of heart problems and although I believe that everyone should be free to make their own choices, but this will only be effective in stopping the Pandemic if the majority of the people (like over 80% or so) get vaccinated.

Please do your own research about the vaccines and indicate your choice in the poll (visible to all) and post any justification for your decision as to whether you are going to get the vaccine or not below.

I don't understand what you are trying to say here,

If you are going to add something of value here to make the readers aware of certain aspects of the Covid 19 then you need to provide some more explanation beyond just putting a smiley face as your comment.

All constructive and professional comments regarding Covid 19 are appreciated regardless of whether they are pro or agsinst vaccines, but they should not be presented in a vague and confusing manner.

If it's just your personal opinion then you should make that very clear by adding IMO at the end of your comment.

People's lives are at stake here as their decisions might get influenced about getting the vaccine or not by what they read here so if you are in possession of certain facts and data from reputable sources that you believe can help open everyone's eyes to certain risks and dangers associated with certain vaccines then you need to present that info in a more constructive and professional way so that it won't come across as being conspiracy theories or fake news all the time.

You claim to be a professional member of the Medical Community and as such there is a big responsibility on your shoulders as to how your comments are going to be perceived by everyone here.

So since lives are at stake here I recommend for everyone whether pro or against vaccines to make these discussions more professional and more complete and fact based.

Thanks

including 2,249 deaths and 7,726 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and March 26, 2021.

Although even one death is too many if it could be avoided, but the question is whether those numbers are acceptable from the risk to reward point of view considering that over 60 million people have been vaccinated.

I believe the answer to this dilemma is for us to be putting more of our effort and energy into improving our Medical Technologies.

As I have been saying all along Humanity needs to ascend to a higher level of thinking and existence that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that are derived through Logic and Compassion.

And if we can get to a more righteous and peaceful way of life perhaps then the World can focus more of its efforts on saving Humanity and our Home Planet instead of making so many bombs and missiles that only serve one purpose and that is to kill.

The truth of the matter is that the politicians who are in charge of leading the World have only one mission in mind and that is to create War, and those who are supposed to be guiding the people seem to be only interested in keeping them locked in the past by keeping them busy with their outdated stories.

The whole thing is set up to get more and more people killed while we are kept in the dark. If we are smart enough we need to change the way that the World currently operates and use all our resources and technologies to help save people instead of letting them get killed to serve the interest of some forces and entities that are controlling our lives for their own benefit.

Covid Cases Drop 96% In Nursing Homes After Vaccine Rollout, Study Reports

https://www.forbes.com/sites/nichol...accine-rollout-study-reports/?sh=622fa7be7ef9

"Coronavirus cases dropped a whopping 96% in nursing homes between late December and early March, with deaths also falling over 90%, according to a study released Monday, showing what a trade group calls a massive impact made by vaccinations.

The study from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living credited "initial vaccine allocations" prioritized for nursing home patients and staff for drastically reducing Covid's impact.

The week of Dec. 20 saw the peak of Covid spread in nursing homes, according to the organizations, with more than 33,000 new cases and over 6,000 deaths.

But the week of March 7, which is the latest included in the study, had only 1,349 new cases and 547 deaths—marking a 91% decline in nursing home deaths since Dec. 20."

What Should You Eat Before and After the COVID Vaccine? Here’s What a Nutritionist Says

"Also, what you should avoid.

It's important to know that all three COVID vaccines were tested on people who ate their usual diets. That means the vaccines have been shown to be effective without any special nutritional preparation. But there are a handful of eating strategies that simply make sense to best support your body's needs, both before and after you have the jab."

Couple of points that come to my mind:

Why isn't healthcare specially being able to get vaccinated against Covid and other diseases considered to be a Human Right,

And

Why is it that those people who have intentionally and willfully contributed to the spread of the virus by pushing the wrong policies and agendas aren't being held accountable for the many lives that have been lost around the World.

It seems that nothing is changing in the way that the World operates and that should be a bigger concern than the Pandemic itself.

Something doesn't make sense, in NY we have more cases now then when in the hot seat a year ago. People still doing all the mask stuff, plus millions of people vaccinated. Just about everyone I know has a family member with it. I stopped worrying long ago about it, just a little perplexed by the rise.
