This suggestion relates to the thread I posted here:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/who-provides-the-professional-appraisals-here.1229951/#post-8183158

The Professional Appraisals section claims to offer "High-quality, in-depth appraisals for members of the Insiders Club" without stating who provides the service. The only responses I noted were from other members, or peers, rather than professionals, and there was no depth to most appraisals.

If the purpose of this section is for peer appraisals, then perhaps rename it as such? A professional appraisal in my opinion is more like a paid service offered by industry professionals, rather than a subjective opinion by peers.

There's nothing wrong with peer appraisals at all but let's not sell it as a professional service if it isn't.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Usually @Eric Lyon gives the best most detail.

who provides the service
The answer to that is always the same on NamePros: the community.

You'd be hard-pressed to find more professionals, especially of domain names, anywhere else compared to NamePros.

It is not a paid service, but that doesn't make it any less valuable. It does, however, mean that you may not receive a response because you're not paying for it and the professionals decide whether they want to participate.

That said, it may be renamed if a better name is suggested.

Thanks for the feedback!

- Insider Appraisals
- Community Appraisals
- Peer Appraisals

Basically anything other than professional or in-depth. :xf.smile:
