So are you no longer allowed to transfer out lll.us from your register? Just tried at Dynadot and was not allowed contact their support and they said it’s prohibited.... πŸ‘€

WTF..

That doesn't make sense. Are you sure it is not just under some type of lock?
I have transferred some in the last few months.

It is an issue with Dynadot. I had a similar issue on a .US domain I bought a few months ago.

Do you get an error when you try to unlock it?

So there is some type of issue with a connection to the registry. I am sure it will be resolved.

Brad

Contacted Dynadot about it and they actually said that my domain is Prohibited from being transferred.

Did they give a reason why?

not sure if it matter but was it LLL?

one LLL.us one normal .us and one .com

Sound like a technical problem to me.
Also Dynadot LOCKs your name on the first day that the name is expired. You have to contact them to unlock it.

I'm sorry to see you're having trouble transferring the domain name, would it be possible to PM us with your Dynadot username and the domain name in question, please? I can then confirm if there is anything from our side, or the registry's side, preventing the domain name from being transferred. To my knowledge, the domain name being a three-letter domain name shouldn't have any affect on the transfer eligibility.

handling with Dynadot support apparently they were getting their engineer on it.

***This was NOT support thread this was asking to see if maybe LLL.us were being restricted for other people.

*** This was NOT a bashful thread towards Dynadot.

I couldn't change the nameservers on some of my .us domains recently, and it seems just the better ones.

Also, I have noticed the quality of the dropping .us domains has gone way down for the last month or so. It seems long enough that it's not just an aberration. Anybody else notice the same?
