As expected...

Supreme Court clears the way for a New York prosecutor to obtain former President Trump’s tax returns.

The decision, the second time the nation's highest court has weighed in on the matter, was announced in an order with no noted dissents.

After the Supreme Court threw out Trump's claim of "absolute immunity" last year, Trump brought a fresh challenge to the subpoena by arguing that it was overbroad and issued in bad faith. Two lower federal courts dismissed those new claims and ordered compliance.

Trump then filed an emergency application with the Supreme Court in October ... and now, four months later, the justices have voted to deny his request to stay the lower court decisions.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has denied Trump's Pennsylvania election challenge as moot.

Don't worry, the military is watching.

Mike Lindell says it's "a great day" now that Dominion Voting Systems has sued him and his company MyPillow. He can finally present evidence in a court of law as well as demand Discovery.

Awesome. He seems totally grounded in reality, and not just some drugged out idiot.

Where did he get his legal degree from? ;)

I suspect if a company conspired to overthrow a president through fraud, they would have little incentive to respond honestly to discovery subpoena.

BTW... Joe Biden withheld emergency aid to Texas trying to force the Gov to raise fuel prices.

I will have to look more into this. I have no idea how accurate or biased this is.

I hope Texas learned a valuable lesson though.

They want to be a self-contained economy. Many there want to secede.
They were the only state that made this (poor) decision when it came to their power grid.

Now they demand the federal government helps them...Just a little ironic.

The vast majority voted for Biden. Biden is president. The Constitution won.

Joe Biden had more popular votes. Joe Biden has more electoral votes.

Donald Trump called it a "landslide" when he lost by 3M votes. Joe Biden won by 7M votes.
That is a massive landslide.

Joe Biden is more popular than Trump ever was. Don't be jealous.

And I suspect if a president wasn't afraid of outing himself as a fraud, he would have released his tax records without a fuss - just like every other president in the past 50'ish years AND as was promised in the run up to the election.

The Supreme Court has just rejected all the bullshit election cases as expected.

NEW: Supreme Court DENIES Trump/GOP request to review ballot extension deadline victory in Pennsylvania.

NEW: Supreme Court ends the frivolous lawsuit filed by Pennsylvania GOP Congressman Mike Kelly that sought to block certification of the 2020 elections--including his own.

NEW: Supreme Court DENIES Trump request to review Wisconsin post-election recount case.

NEW: Supreme Court DENIES crackpot effort to review dismissal of the Michigan Kraken conspiracy case

NEW: Supreme Court DENIES GOP request to review Arizona post-election recount case.

NEW: Supreme Court DENIES Lin Wood request to review Georgia post-election recount case.

So many “wins” Lol. See you 2024,

What do you mean what about the tax returns? The ruling is literally on that.

His accounting firm has to turn them over and already stated they will comply, since they have no choice.

Today's Supreme Court ruling means that the grand jury investigation into alleged hush money payments and other issues will no longer be hampered by former President Trump's fight to keep the documents secret.

The documents, however, will be subject to grand jury secrecy rules that restrict their public release.

The subpoenas span documents from January 2011 to August 2019, including Trump's tax returns, from his long time accounting firm, Mazars. The documents relate to the Trump Organization's employment of Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen and hush money payment Cohen allegedly made to two woman who claimed to have had extramarital affairs with Trump.

If there is nothing nefarious in there; if the records match what he reported on financial disclosure documents to banks, then he should have nothing to fear. My guess is since he fought so hard, there is probably quite a bit more to the story.

Let the chips fall where they may.

Oh look, another prominent Texas politician who magically avoided the power outages...

AG Ken Paxton and wife Sen. Angela Paxton went to Utah during Texas freeze

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/po...d-wife-Sen-Angela-Paxton-went-to-15970261.php

This guy was indicted on (2) felony charges in 2015, and still has not been to trial. I guess being the AG can really help in avoiding accountability for your crimes.

He might be living in jail rent free soon.

The grand jury can now see the evidence. If there are crimes he should be charged. If there is nothing, nothing will happen.

The fact Trump fought so hard to not turn these documents over...Yeah, probably something there.

Along with Crooked Hillary, Pelosi, and the House Democrats.

That "bi-partisan" Omnibill (first one) was the essence of the swamp. Military budgets shouldnt include billions to other countries that would use it to purchase Russian Military gear, and "Gender studies" which is an excuse to give M.E. countries with worst human rights-- money.
