Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Sinovac vaccine works on UK, South African variants - Brazil institute
“We have tested this vaccine in China against the English and the South African variants, with good results,” said Dimas Covas, head of the Butantan biomedical center in Sao Paulo which lead domestic trials of the Chinese vaccine and is supplying doses to Brazil’s Health Ministry.

Lab studies suggest Pfizer, Moderna vaccines can protect against coronavirus variant

A new report published in the New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday suggests that Pfizer-BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine can protect people against concerning new coronavirus variants, including one first seen in South Africa called B.1.351.

Pfizer says new data shows 1 dose is 93% effective after 2 weeks - urge single dosing

Polack et al. (Dec. 31)1 report a vaccine efficacy of 94.8% against Covid-19 after two doses of the messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine BNT162b2 (Pfizer–BioNTech). The authors also report a vaccine efficacy of 52.4% from after the first dose to before the second dose, but in their calculation, they included data that were collected during the first 2 weeks after the first dose, when immunity would have still been mounting.1 We used documents submitted to the Food and Drug Administration2 to derive the vaccine efficacy beginning from 2 weeks after the first dose to before the second dose (Table 1). Even before the second dose, BNT162b2 was highly efficacious, with a vaccine efficacy of 92.6%, a finding similar to the first-dose efficacy of 92.1% reported for the mRNA-1273 vaccine (Moderna).3

With such a highly protective first dose, the benefits derived from a scarce supply of vaccine could be maximized by deferring second doses until all priority group members are offered at least one dose. There may be uncertainty about the duration of protection with a single dose, but the administration of a second dose within 1 month after the first, as recommended, provides little added benefit in the short term, while high-risk persons who could have received a first dose with that vaccine supply are left completely unprotected. Given the current vaccine shortage, postponement of the second dose is a matter of national security that, if ignored, will certainly result in thousands of Covid-19–related hospitalizations and deaths this winter in the United States — hospitalizations and deaths that would have been prevented with a first dose of vaccine.

Male balding is a major risk factor for severe COVID-19

Recent observations by Wambier et al1 suggest that men with pattern baldness are at high risk for severe symptomatic COVID-19 infection. Two preliminary studies1 , 2 noted high rates of androgenic alopecia in men hospitalized for severe COVID-19. Both of these uncontrolled observational studies were limited by small sample size. To further evaluate this intriguing observation, we examined severity of hair loss in 1941 hospitalized male patients tested for COVID-19 using data from the UK Biobank. We conducted multivariable logistic regression analysis, where the outcome was a positive COVID-19 test result, and the main variable of interest was severity of balding. Other variables accounted for were age, body mass index (BMI), hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes.

American Life Expectancy Dropped By A Full Year In The First Half Of 2020

The average U.S. life expectancy dropped by a year in the first half of 2020, according to a new report from the National Center for Health Statistics, a part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Life expectancy at birth for the total U.S. population was 77.8 years – a decline of 1 year from 78.8 in 2019. For males, the life expectancy at birth was 75.1 – a decline of 1.2 years from 2019. For females, life expectancy declined to 80.5 years, a 0.9 year decrease from 2019.

Deaths from COVID-19 are the main factor in the overall drop in U.S. life expectancy between January and June 2020, the CDC says. But it's not the only one: a surge in drug overdose deaths are a part of the decline, too.

When will life get back to normal? Fauci now says 2022

After months of suggesting that life could start to feel "normal" again this fall -- if the vaccine rollout worked as planned -- Fauci in an interview with LA Times Today this week gave a new prediction.

"Hopefully, by the time we start entering 2022, we really will have a degree of normality that will approximate the kind of normality we've been used to," Fauci said.

That was a departure from previous predictions, including remarks he gave at conference hosted by the Association of Performing Arts Professionals just last month.

"If everything goes right … by the time we get to the early to mid-fall, you can have people feeling safe performing onstage as well as people in the audience," he said on Jan. 9.

Biden had clearly gotten the memo before going on stage at a CNN Town Hall on Tuesday, suggesting that life could feel normal again in "Christmas."

Pfizer says new data shows 1 dose is 93% effective after 2 weeks - urge single dosing

This is great news...it will allow those on the list desiring an inoculation the chance to get it more quickly. Since declining the chance to get a shot early on, the categories in my state have changed and now I am next to the bottom/last in the que. It is okay as I think I prefer the J & J version now.

So the USA has officially recorded over a half-million deaths, while Brazil is days away from reporting a quarter-million deaths.

Very very sad. Tragic.

Despite 1.38 billion people, India has only 156K COVID-19 deaths so far.

‘Hygiene hypothesis’

Commenting on why India and other low-income countries were recording low mortalities due to Covid-19, Mande said the “hygiene hypothesis” could be behind it. The hygiene hypothesis, he explained, proposes that populations living in poor hygienic conditions are exposed to a high number of pathogens which train their immune systems to fight new infections.

“In high income countries, as hygiene conditions improve, the burden of such communicable diseases, that are spread by pathogens, reduces. Instead, the burden of autoimmune diseases — such as diabetes, asthma and psoriasis — increases,” Mande added.

A study authored by Mande and his team, which will be published in the journal Current Science, also delves on how this could be one of the factors that can explain why countries with low GDP may have lower Covid-19 mortality rates.

He, however, cautioned, “By no means are we telling people that you should actually move to a worse hygiene. What we are saying is that the body’s immune system is not ready to look at any new disease that comes in. We need to continuously train our immunity for that.”

Mande also said how the human gut — home to a large colony of microbes — may hold the key to training our immune system.

Fact check: CDC is not inflating the COVID-19 death count

The claim: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention inflated COVID-19 deaths by more than 1,600%

As the U.S. approaches a dark milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic, conspiracy theories about the counting of deaths from the coronavirus are reemerging.

An October report that claims the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is exaggerating the death count from the virus – now at more than 485,000 – by a factor of more than 16 got new traction on several websites in February.

The report in “Science, Public Health Policy, and The Law,” led by a man who has spread misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines, relies on a debunked claim that the way the CDC requires comorbidity to be reported on death certificates means that many deaths are incorrectly attributed to the virus.

there is more info in the article, it is a quick read...

Hmmm imagine that - published at xx:54
We all know which group loves "54"

And USA Today never has gotten facts right - that's not their role in the Order out of Chaos machine.

They couldn't even quote me properly in 1999.

If you like misinformation, share USAToday and their propaganda, IMHO

The sooner people like you stop spreading fear propaganda, the sooner life can be normal again and people won't be behaving in a petrified zombie trance - you know - like in Florida.

Or maybe you like the dystopian world? O_o

Another answer could be the percentage of people over 65 years old. In India only 6% of the population is over 65, while in western countries varies from 15% (United States) to 19.7% (France), 21.5% (Germany), 23% (Italy) or 18.5% (United Kingdom).

But I agree with the article. "...exposed to a high number of pathogens which train their immune systems to fight new infections."

I guess it's the sum of a few things what has led to the low death rate in India.

20.5m years of life may have been lost to Covid across 81 countries, study finds
More than 20.5 million years of life may have been lost to the coronavirus pandemic in 81 countries of the world, according to a new study that exposes the fallacy that those who die would have soon done so even if they had not caught Covid-19.

While Covid deaths are often compared dismissively to those from flu, which kills many elderly and frail individuals every year, the study shows the coronavirus has taken a significantly greater toll. In those countries that are badly affected, the number of years of life lost to Covid is between two and nine times more than from seasonal flu.

Wow, people believe that? WTF.

Here is a clue, those men who constantly leak their semen go bald prematurely. The kidneys nourish the hair on the head. ;)

Pfizer and BioNTech Submit COVID-19 Vaccine Stability Data at Standard Freeze Temperature to the U.S. FDA

https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-r...ontech-submit-covid-19-vaccine-stability-data

"NEW YORK and MAINZ, GERMANY, February 19, 2021 — Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) and BioNTech SE (Nasdaq: BNTX) today announced the submission of new data to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) demonstrating the stability of their COVID-19 vaccine when stored at -25°C to -15°C (-13°F to 5°F), temperatures more commonly found in pharmaceutical freezers and refrigerators. The data have been submitted to the FDA to support a proposed update to the U.S. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) Prescribing Information, which would allow for vaccine vials to be stored at these temperatures for a total of two weeks as an alternative or complement to storage in an ultra-low temperature freezer."

BioNTech/Pfizer: Vaccine can be stored at higher temps

https://www.politico.eu/article/biontech-pfizer-vaccine-can-be-stored-at-higher-temps/

"The BioNTech/Pfizer coronavirus vaccine — which currently needs to be transported in ultra-low temperatures between -80 to -60 degrees Celsius — can actually remain stable at much higher temperatures, the two companies announced today.

New data indicates that the vaccine is stable at -25 to -15 degrees Celsius, temperatures that are more commonly found in pharmaceutical freezers, Pfizer and BioNTech announced in a statement. They will submit this data to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and if it's accepted, vials of the vaccine could be stored at these temperatures for two weeks."
How ridiculous, such "news" are obviously part of the great lie, to let this global show look more "scientific".

Nobody can tell me they wouldn't have found this (if it all would be true) out sooner, what a joke.

Don't be fooled by the freemasonic corona cartel (high finance and their henchmen in pharma, science, politics and of course mainstream media), it's not too late to wake up.
