Any one getting Trafficbot.live visits? I have around 400 visits running in my GA. How to blacklist that domain?

Yes, saw them as well today. Lots of them.

Morning @LaszloSchenk

This verification method at DAN works very well. A question I have is, whether this method could even be improved when your internal systems will be (re)querying authoritative DNS servers directly, instead of waiting for TTL to expire, at the moment a duplicate domain is added to a portfolio. Just a thought.
Good morning @Future Sensors,

Thank you for your suggestion. This would be a great alternative in case we had fewer domains to verify. With the current volume, we have millions of domains to verify which will result in delays instead.

Have a nice day,

Hi @LaszloSchenk

Yes, I can imagine this is true for your regular/periodic checks for all customer domains at DAN. My suggestion was only about duplicates detected at time of addition, just to speed up the verification process for a couple of domains at maximum.

Hi everyone,
quick question to the Dan Staff.
Are there any plans to adjust the minimum monthly rent ($50)? Renting could become more attractive if the rental price was a little lower.

thank you and keep up the good work!

One day later, I'm also seeing (even more requests with) bottraffic.live. Not only as src host, also in url paths.

Good morning @Future Sensors,

I will relay the feedback to our product team for you.

Regarding the bot traffic, could both you and @DNGear, send me a private message with one example domain that is inflicted?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Good morning @untoldman,

Thank you for contacting us.

We do not have a plan to lower the minimum anytime soon. However, we will always keep evaluating the situation and make alterations when needed.

Have a great day.

Good morning @SergioM,

If the domain is listed with one of the registrars we have an escrow account with we will opt for a push. Otherwise, we will ask the client if he/she prefers to create an account there or wait for the lock to get lifted.

Have a great day.

Ah, thanks. Would be interesting to see if it's hammering only one, or more of your domains. You can see this when you add a second dimension in Analytics: "hostname". In my case, the bot was hammering the same domain thousands of times. Perhaps you could also inform @LaszloSchenk via PM about the exact domains the bot is targeting in your portfolio.

Hi @LaszloSchenk ,

Are you having problem with payment processing?.I have been trying to make payment on a name and I called my bank and they said to ask you since I also just made payment on 2 other names as well.

I am sending you the name in pm as I have also contacted Simon and haven't heard back .

UPDATE: Cleared cookies on my phone and had to use a VPN for this to go through. Maybe .

I feel better now .

Could very well be, yes. Or a security scanner. Another thing I noticed, is that only 3 domains were targeted on a total of 4.5K in my DAN portfolio. What these domains have in common, is that they've been developed sites in the past, with a lot of mentions and backlinks. Pity that I can't block them with one click, as I'm doing on my own servers. But @LaszloSchenk is on it ;)

It only seems to be one domain they target.

I'm making a test using make offer only since a few days.
Once offer is accepted it seems most buyers takes time to pay or change their mind, decide not to pay, maybe fake buyers.

hi..is it true if our payout is paypal and amount is over 2k then it goes by default to bank?

also what do u do exactly to ensure crypto payout is same as btc value at payout time? or do u set value a day or hours b4 payout? how does it work

also... when will u have implemented system for keeping our payouts as credit until we decided to cash out?

Dear,

We have investigated the matter regarding bot traffic. It seems that some sellers are buying the free bot traffic service that that website offers and those bots tend to spider other links that they find causing issues for multiple sellers. We’ve contacted the Bot traffic service to find out which seller is doing this to ban that seller which we hope resolves the issue for sellers impacted by this.

Best regards,

Hi Alcy,

Yes, this is true. We use a wire transfer as the alternative payout method in that case.

When it comes to BTC payouts, we use the live rate at the moment of payout and match it to the transaction value. We cannot guarantee the value will remain the same in the hours after receiving it considering the currency is highly volatile. Lastly, we do not have any ETA on this yet but will let you guys know when an account balance is introduced.

Best regards,

Best regards,

I find such btc payouts as u describe not necessarily being yer fault.. are a major issue

what if I sell name for 10k
.. and 1btc is 10k now.. but when u send payment it's already not going to convert to 10k for me...

that being said..here come stablecoin.. busd..usdt etc..plenty to pick...can u consider solving all these issues we both admit to with btc once for all and use 1 stable coin.. or few..but one enuf... is this something u can consider or are thinking of? ty

Thanks a lot for investigating. Could you see in the httpd logs where this started? At which DAN customer domain? And in the meantime try to block the bot traffic...
