Who is Wales.com for?
Wales.com is for anyone with an interest in finding out more about Wales as a country – and place to invest, work, visit or study.
It is mainly aimed at international audiences and is designed to provide a warm and broad introduction to Wales, with
VisitWales.com and
TradeandInvest.Wales providing much greater detail for those that want to find out more.
Funded by Welsh Government, Wales.com’s role is to showcase Wales on behalf of its businesses, organisations and people. Whilst it will sometimes feature information about Welsh Government or a signature policy it will do so as part of telling the broader story of Wales.

Is it a new website?
Wales.com has been a long-established portal for promoting Wales. The website has recently been updated as part of a project called the Wales Digital Gateway, the current phase of an ongoing programme of continual improvement to strengthen our digital marketing infrastructure and content approach for the future.
The latest version of Wales.com is on a new technical platform, shared with
VisitWales.com. The website is also more magazine-like than previous versions of the site – acting as a showcase of stories from people and organisations across all parts of Wales that can also be shared through social media.
The website is currently in BETA and you can expect to see a number of further improvements in the coming months, including: more proactive use of social media; more short-form articles on various aspects of Welsh life; a new language version of the site; and technical improvements to the user experience we provide on the site.
