yea exactly. nice trick they use to force people to use their landers. if u had it on dan or bodis lander or other cheap ones it would sell too

that's how they make their cash...cause most people do not realize that they know that by forcing u to their lander u will never question or say...damn I could have sold it for less fee on my own lander.

seriously... 700 out of 2700...that's an insult .. I couldn't sleep at nite if company did this to me. I already take sleeping pills when gd takes 20%

Submitting unregistered domains is a way to eliminate risks completely on your side. If you're a creative kind of domainer and has limited resources or willingness to take risks, it is a great way to make sales anyway.

If we assume that "unregistered" names have the same STR on SH as "registered" names (let's say, 3%), and let's say, you have 100 domains, you can sell 3 domains and make $2000 per year without spending a dime. On the other hand, if you own 100 domains on SH, and you sell 3 domains and make $6000 per year, the costs can be huge: you need to register at least a few hundred domains in order to have 100 domains on SH ($3000 reg fee), then renew the 100 domains ($800). Of course, you can sell the domains SH doesn't accept anywhere else (even on other brandable marketplaces) but maybe not for such a high price.

I totally understand what you're saying, but I think it's not a bad idea to submit those unregistered names to SH that you don't trust enough. I don't say it's free money (as you need to work a lot on inventing available domain names), but it's a great (and free) way to give a chance to domains that are the "second-class" by-products of your domain research.

so basically it's like that ad on TV by that burger flipping dx boxer george something... where he was paying for yer good ideas and then making 10 times more selling them... well the other person put it well above that we should be experienced and confident enuf to invest in our own ideas... sell them ourselves... instead of letting others rip us off.. even if in terms we agree to the said ripoff..

This is taking this thread into another direction but I see nothing wrong with the commission structure. If you really think the name would sell, why not register it yourself?

SH bears the risk by registering your suggested names, if it doesn't sell they bear the loss, if it sells, you get money for your brainstorming. It is a win-win for both party.

NB: Suggested names is different from Creative owned names.

I'd call it clever more than fair

it's like posting np thread that says pm me yer best domain reg ideas... if I like it i will reg it then if it sells I pay u 25% and take the rest ..

how u think people will look at u if u post it?

That's actually a good idea, hey everyone, please send me a DM with your invented unregistered domains, if I like any of it and get sold I'll pay 25% of the sale price :) But seriously, I think there are lots of people on Namepros who would like this.

There is nothing wrong with what SquadHelp is doing. It is their term of business. If you don't like it, don't trade with them.

If you think your name is valuable and you have the money then pay the registration fee and submit and hope it gets accepted. Otherwise, pray it doesn't get registered until you can afford it.

OR ELSE you could always donate your names here on namepros for us chancers to register and submit on SH and have a go at getting the 75% instead of SH :)

RISK VS REWARD - that is what it centers around.

Agreed, @tiletalk

SH is taking the investment risk so an inverted commission makes sense.

SH is the only marketplace to offer the option of regging names on behalf of sellers, and this empowers many people to begin domain investing who otherwise could not afford it.

So it is more than fair and I applaud SH for offering this feature.

Now, back to the sales 😎

Hmm, and you took dollars instead of BTC..:xf.frown:

this is offtopic but for God's sake people can u all just stop talking as if u know which way btc ever did or ever will go...u do not know ..u never did know and u will never know...and u have zero control over its value .. never buy btc unless u were on yer way to a casino with that money anyway

it made countless more people poorer than it did richer ... plz show some respect and not give bad advice to buy btc... it kills and ruins peoples lives. it's a very real killer

either way the damn thing is no more than ai algorithm designed to grab peoples last wealth... and so far it's worked flawlessly at that overall. it is perfect but in a very dark way.

You are right. Its off topic. My bad.

sometimes it's ok to be offtopic if it means saving peoples lives.

just remember. it is not an asset or investment if u have no clue if its value will go up or down and when and why... and if u have literally zero control over where the value goes

when these facts are in place it is a casino bet. like Russian roulette not an asset.

it has destroyed way more lives than it helped. u should be very very afraid of it. and particularly misinformed to buy it

buy some domains instead. yer wife will have a husband.. yer kids a father at least. goodbye now

Wait and let the buyer send money to Dan before you claim that it has sold....lot of offer on Dan after buyer make offer..they will refuse to send money to Dan...this is too common on the platform...why?

What makes you think the buyer did not pay DAN? because it seems like they did.

If you mind I'd like to ask why did you register this name? .VC. I'm unprepared registering even in familiar extensions. Why this? Thanks.

This is good. But I still don't get why you choose .vc

VC is a well known extension for all venture capitals (kind of companies). They do take it more often than the .ventures extension is think.

Just learned it means Venture Capitals. But in such cases, does Outbound work better?
