Apparently .AM domains don't allow WhoIs privacy, but domains like wolfr.am and instagr.am have their info redacted. What gives? I want to buy a .am domain, but don't want my info to be visible.

Although, I doubt that anyone will look at it, so it's not too big of a deal, I'm just wondering why this is the case.

It can happen but your registrar need to make a special case for it.

If you want it on just one domain maybe it's worth contacting your registrar and ask if they can make an exception for that one name only.
