i*n*v*a*n*t*o*r*y in KING sold for $3999 at DAN.com.

Purchased for $140 at expired auction, HOLD time 2 months.

It was listed at DAN.com with $3,688 as BIN, received offer of $2500 and negotiated to $3,999. Buyer didn't accept my counter offer of $3500 so I increased the BIN and listed as $3999 at efty.com landing page.

Registered in october 2019 then did outbound only in september this year to 3-4 potential end users. Negotiated with one client for 250. Then i sent him inbound lead via dan/epik to purchase for 250 but he refused to purchase and told me that they only purchase through godaddy otherwise they dont. I explained them how i would lose 20% commission through godaddy/afternic and that there are other credible marketplaces as well. But he refused. He even didnt agree to cover 20% commission when i asked him to. In the end i had to agree on his condition and lose 20% commission to afternic/godaddy for nothing. Edited the price at afternic. I intentionally added $10 extra as bin. And informed client and he agreed to hit bin at godaddy.

Inquiry on Epik form (Epik Marketplace sale)
Hold Time: several days (this time)
Acquisition: discounted hand reg

This is smallest sale I have reported, but it has an interesting story. I held this name for one year with 0 inquiries. So I let it drop. But on Epik .co promotion I decided to register it again for another year. I had not even got a lander or listing done this time, but about 9 hr after registering it the second time I got an inquiry (through auto contact Epik put up). I negotiated, but over several days, person seemed not willing to pay too much, and given that an ed ending .co and I had no inquiries for previous year, agreed to sell (I would not have sold this low had it not been that I had previously held it without interest). It is still sitting with my lander, but I am pretty sure that it is an end user that will use it in an auto trim business. I had thought hair or hedge or budget trimming when I picked it up.

Just sold Messenger(.)vc on Sedo for $800.
Offer was $500, countered $1,100, he countered $800. Just made the payment.
Purchased about $600 worth of premium.vc’s during the prom @Epik.com had. First one I’ve sold, game on. 😁

When you counter do you also go into a conversation or just figures only? Just curious since I always feel the need to explain why I don't accept the initial offer.

There wasn't an option to send any message to the buyer, assumed it was a new update Sedo did as I'd never seen that layout before.
Options were, agree to offer and sell at that price, or change the BIN price and anyone who had made an offer would be emailed notifying them of the new BIN price.
So that's what I did, changed price to 1,100 for a day, then tried $800 and it was bought.

EDIT, my final price change was $999 to which he countered $800 and I hit the sell button. Long day, lol

Epik Marketplace
sale
Inbound
I acquired it on NameLiquidate only about a month ago (domain is 7 yr old)

Perhaps I let it go too cheap for a dictionary word .com (the automated appraisals would say I did), even though ending in s. But I made a really good ratio on a super short time holding it, and this much money goes a long way for how I spend on my portfolio.

I like NameLiquidate as a place to occasionally find great deals on names - no bidding against bots (that I know of) and Dutch auction format makes that largely irrelevant anyway.

I am not sure if chance, but I had put up a visually nice Epik lander with an abstract image background and a few words re the domain name, and the solid offer (that I bargained up to this price) came in within a day or two after the lander was active.

Thanks to Epik for the venue I acquired the name, nice landers, and a rapid and smooth marketplace sale process.

Bob

BIN 4000.
Funnily, it was on a DAN Lander with BIN of 10000 that I updated only last week
But I forgot to update Sedo haha
Ah... but 4k also makes me very happy.
And the 10K might be the reason for the buyer to pull the BIN trigger

Hold time: 40 days
Purchase Price: $23
Venue: Sedo

Please don't type the name
