I'm just wondering if there is any other thing to be done after these two have been satisfied. If you've listed everywhere and have done all possible Outbounding, is that the end of the steps or there is something more that can be don. Thanks.

Isn't the marketplace doing that already? What do you mean, exactly?
Adwords, Youtube or Facebook ads, I tried it, but I had a limited budget so it didn't go far.

Too many pro & senior domainers even held names for over 10+ years after accquired

So nothing you could do here to sell a name, "pray" is only thing

1. Read, listen, discuss, and think about domain names and marketing.
2. Liquidate the worst of your domains.
3. Replace with better domains.
4. Rinse and repeat.

When you say 'Listing' It is always best to have the names listed at least three different sites. I have been surprised over the years how often I've received emails asking if a domain is possibly for sale - when the domain already resolves to a sales platform

This has happened to me twice this week. The first guy I think genuinely didn't understand domains because the buy it now price was <$900 on godaddy.. and he could have just bought it but instead he emailed.. the second people...

I am assuming either they (or their broker) are savvy enough to do a whois search and e-mail me, but not savvy enough to actually go to the domain.. or more likely, that they just want to see if they can obtain a discount by opening up a direct dialog with me.. maybe give me some hard luck story.. whether there's any truth to their hard luck story.... I'm ignoring them.. if they want the domain it's on godaddy buy it now... which they likely know already. If there was a way to block the whois email to me I would do it. Anybody know of a way?

Hi

go outside and relax.
smoke a doobie,
have a shot,
sip some tea,
drink some coffee
or just smell the air and be glad you found domains

:)

Cross your fingers and make a wish.

If it was easy money, everybody would be doing it.

The only other thing to do for promotion and greater credibility and networking, is get a domain for your business name, use it for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and if you have the funds build out a website based on that name. Efty is an option for that too. Having a phone number to be contacted seems to help in some cases too.

Meanwhile, while you wait for sales continue to learn, follow fellow domainers on social platforms, listen to podcasts, study what sells etc.

Selling a domain is like fishing with a float. Watch your "float" and wait.
This is from one fishing site --> "If you are fishing with a float, watch it carefully for any movement. The float may move sideways across the water, it may jiggle about, or it may be pulled down under the water. Try to set the hook when there is a definite movement of the float."
So the main thing, set the the "hook" when there is a definite movement of the "domain". :)

Nothing but owning good domains. You don't need to list in marketplaces, outbound and marketing. Those are waste of time and money. You just need to own good domains. That's it!

You could try to sell here on NP

You could submit to monthly Sedo Great Domain Auctions

You could start your own Sedo auction

You could submit to GoDaddy auction

I am not an expert in these areas, but know some auctions you have to pay to get in

Sedo has special monthly auctions. Latest was a keyword domain auction. I think it was free or small fee if your name was accepted, but required a $99 starting price and I dont think you could set a Reserve (not sure). Meaning 1 minimum bid for $99 required you to sell..assuming yoy didnt get any higher bids, of course.

Probably other ways I dont know yet
