Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Dell paid for a VR demonstration website that uses WebXR, so it can be navigated on multiple devices. It's similar to Mozilla Hubs rooms but more refined and customized. Worth checking out as a preview of what VR experiences on the web will be like (requires updated Chrome or Firefox browser). I consider this a primary use case for VR domain names.

I enquired about that domain a few years ago and 360VR, if it was on the market then, i would have gone all out for it.

It should go for a nice price, but don't think I'm going to compete for it. I have a similar domain in Immersive360 dot com.

Very interesting stats. Registered in 1998. Godaddy appraisal estimate
$13,062 USD. Since it's already at 3k with 5 days left, I guess it will end up around 7-9k.

@Kingslayer and others.. thoughts on Quest 2's impact?

I haven't been following it too much to be honest mate, it's great Facebook are still on the VR train though, making new headsets/still putting in money and promoting, that can only be good.

I think PS5 could be quite big for the future growth of VR, so I'm most excited by that and think that is the next headset I'm personally going to buy.
