This is more geared towards to people who are new and might take these offers at face value when in fact they normally come from cheapskate domainers hiding behind this type of fake story

This thread is to showcase any offers you get from people pretending (or you think are pretending) to be a Non Profit organisation

Feel free to provide any relevant details,

Domain
Offer Amount
Platform
Any message
Country/City of origin

I had one today: Not even going to bother responding

Domain: LearnX (org) via Efty lander

Offer amount $10

"Hi
I wanted to buy this domain for my non-profit platform which serves international students from all over the world, by providing them information related to their college applications for free.
Bro lets make our world a better place to live together) "

Offer came from Tashkent (Uzbekistan)

Would be interesting to see if there is a pattern with these offers, where they come from, the types of domains they take an interest in, the offer amounts etc etc

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Name was GenH/org
Offer was 121
Platform was Dan
Country was the US
Story was that they wanted to start a non-profit for street kids

The next message will likely be "Bro, let's close this deal ASAP!"

I had a similar offer earlier this year.

How could you turn down such a good deal from such a charismatic brother?
;)

I did have another offer for an org I own from a legitimate non-profit a while ago.

They wanted me to donate the domain for free.

I googled them and the CEO was on a reasonably hefty salary.

I guess I can't knock them for trying :)

Fair play...

Non profit does not mean everything is a freebie.....they need to get off their pedestals...

ColdAlone.com is available to register right now. If you stil have their details, I imagine this would help.

No offers, but I’ve just donated

‘PresidioPrinciples(.)org’

To the World Economic Forum (WEF) who are building a new site dedicated to the ‘Blockchain Bill Of Rights’.
