I think I understand what I need to do. I've decided that since I most likely have made a lot of domain purchases that are completely worthless at $0 according to some here in the community as a result of relying on automated appraisal tools such as Godaddy's Appraisal Tool ( GAT ) and Estibot, as a beginner, I think in order to work toward making some of my money back within the year of my discount club membership, I have decided to price my domains way below than what I had initially seen on GAT.
So domains which I had bought for example because their value was estimated at something like $1400 on GAT, I'll probably just set the Buy Now Price to a quarter of what the GAT was. So like my Buy Now will be: $350, My Minimum Offer would be: $87, and then I'd make the Floor Price half of $350: $175, and the Reserve Price half of $175: $43.
I think in order to make some of the money back that I spent relying on automated Appraisal Bots, that this is the best course of action at the moment. I might also try to get a few of my other domains appraised here on NamePros as well, as there are still some domains in my portfolio that I still think could be priced for a little higher than just $500 maybe.
And then in the future after having spent a few solid months more time reading through this forum and other forums, I'll be able to go forward making more educated buys.
If anyone is interested in looking at the 136 domain names in my portfolio while they can, feel free to DM me as there could be something that you think you might want and would be able to sell for a way higher price than what I'm offering. I'm still unsure what my domains are worth exactly, so I'm also open to offers. there may be a few I won't include as I think they could sell for higher.
