I had, and let drop, wifigratuit.ca so if anyone wants to register it do so now.

I have the english equivalent freewifi.ca and originally bought them as a set.

The theory behind the drop was that .ca is a small market, by limiting it to one province it is way too small.

Broke my heart to let it drop but I'm positive there is some money to be made there. I mean everywhere you go you see a sign that says freewifi so it should be the same for quebec.

If anyone picks it up please post back here.

GratuitEnligne.com I'll keep means "Free Online"

Great thread idea Lachinoiserie !

I start with boulot.com. I've thought it would be a great name for a job board in French.

Craponne.com

Funny I live 5km far from Craponne :)

Thanks! What QAR stands for?

Nothing special, a 3 letter I've decided to pick up from an expiring domain auction. "Qar" could refer to "Car" and some companies have this acronym.

Good idea this thread! (y)

SansRendezVous .com

It means « walk-in » as in a walk-in clinic.
Literally “without appointment”.

Thanks @Lachinoiserie for the invitation.

I would like to share Vivante.com for which you already said it means "alive (fem.) Like She's alive = Elle est vivante. or a busy street = une rue vivante."

Some new stuff to learn for me so thanks for sharing (y)

I own a couple of real estate domains using French words, CorvetteRealty and CartBlancheRealty. How do you think these french words work in conjunction with a real estate name? btw, have you seen the new Corvette? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Carte Blanche or Cart Blanche?
Corvette is rarely used in French.

If you are asking, I do not see any relation between these French words and Real estate, I am sorry. Even less when mixing both languages. Maybe adding a random French word add a drop of cachet to some Americans?
