it doesn't make sense just because it's shorter

I like apps more than app

Sometimes singular works better.

Sometimes plural more.

In this case; i feel app is more focused;
you offer one service an app;

“apps” makes it seems like an app store.
sounds like a service, rather than product imo

This was a way more valuable domain... What made the domainer undersell it?

QRapp.com, QR code is almost a standard nowadays in digital payments industry. Just think of the SEO value apart from branding convenience. Thanks for sharing!

While the nature of services seem self-explanatory from the domain, i think they could've chosen a better domain/brand name.
When i got a first glimpse of the sale without capitalization, i assumed it was a garbage/waste disposal business that wanted a quirky name.
