discuss $1 .Realty Domain Sale - Marketing ideas

Without going into too much detail I just picked up 55 .realty domains, and I'm seeking other NP members input for speed marketing these domains since their renewal is $299 in a year.

Suffice it to say, many of my domains are one word like Dolphin.realty, and two word domains like MoveUp.realty. There are hundreds of thousand of real estate agents in the US, and thousands of new ones getting their real estate license each month.

While I plan to work with Epik in some capacity via landing pages etc., my main plan is to "outbound market" .realty domains and develop a custom website specifically targeting agents, brokers and new agents.

I haven't nailed down the pricing yet, but the domains need to be less than a thousand dollars with options to finance 12-24 months.

I was a little reluctant to share this, but I thought what the heck? Two heads are always better than one and 3, 4, 5, 6 etc. are far better than two.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas? Thanks:xf.smile:

Hmm, I thought I was real clear but okay.

It isn't about hiding the actual record of who owns the domain at all. It's about making it too easy for potential buyers to find what people HERE on NP write about your domain.

When search engine's crawl NP they record everything including unscrambled domains. If a domain isn't scrambled the domain will likely appear at the top of a search engine listing when someone searches for that domain.

BTW, NP is a very popular website currently having an Alexa Rank of 7,160 which is considered an authority site. So it's almost guaranteed that an unscrambled domain will appear at the top of the search page because NP is trustworthy and very relevant.

It could really hurt sales when someone discuses the details of their domain on NP and a potential buyer reads what is written, especially when they read how much the seller paid to acquire it.

The potential buyer can also see other people's opinion about your domain either good or bad. Most of the time people on NP are very tough with their opinions and that will likely hurt sales.

I hope this helps.

Now I got the answer why people on NP use /,(),*,...

like "E/x/a/m/p/l/e(.)com", "Example in king",... while discussing their domain.
BTW I'm just a beginner guy

Thanks for sharing in details.

I managed to acquire about 70 3L .realty names and about 30 keyword-based ones.
Many ideas came from scouring through glassdoor.com, value.today, and globalpropertyguide.com.
For the keyword-based ones, I plan on making landers as my VRCFX.com domain has, so I view it as a good exercise in freshening up my copywriting and SEO knowledge.

Here's a list of some of the more favorable .realty domains that I own:

Sicily
BoraBora
Canary
Santorini
Corfu
Corsica
Ceylon
GrandCayman
Paros
Milos
Langkawi
Palawan
Gozo
Iceberg
Ecologic
Investable
Attain
Gain
Grab
Revamp
AWE
Herr
Judy
Josh
1ON1
DFY (Done For You)
MKT
XAI (Explainable Artificial Intelligence)

Started to dig a bit deeper into the .realty hype and ended up with 235 .realty names, the majority being 3L domains. I will definitely renew one and I'm also thinking of renewing another two domains.

I don't know, how wasn't it already taken, but I managed to get my hands on XR (.)realty, which domain name due to AR & VR totally reshaping the real estate industry, based on various market research reports regarding the Global Extended Reality (XR) market growth and Qualcomm's recent speech at last week's AWE Asia Expo, in a couple of years' time will be worth an estimated 6 or even 7 figures.

The other two are also based on future technology, the technology of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI): XAI (.)realty and Explainable (.)realty. I also own XAiRealty (.)com, RealtyxAi (.)com, XAiRealEstate (.).com, RealEstatexAi (.)com and ExplainableRealty (.)com.

Explainable AI is going to revolutionize AI as we know it since AIs currently work based on 'black box' models which means that you can't ask the Ai how it came to a certain conclusion and XAIs will be able to explain themselves.

Here's an example of it with Real Estate:

Some of the keyword-based .realty names that I picked up:

Angeles

Reputable
Renowned
Futuristic
Realist
Surreal
Thinking
Equitable
Discrete
Tranquil
Graceful
Allure

Captivating
Swartz
Disruptive
Monte
Helium
Centaur
Phantom
Chestnut
Chapel
Mozaic
Scorpio
Pisces
Capricorn
Virgo
Cormorant
Aurus (means "Golden" in Latin)

P.S.
English is my 3rd language, sorry for the grammatical mistakes that might occur.

Fabulous post....i especially like XR(.)Realty. Made me think I probably need a few more short/catchy/tech .realty names, but I own enough for now. My portfolio consists of 312 domains, mostly traditional where there is usually a comparable .com already in existence. Being able to show comparable's like they do at Go Daddy is a huge a selling tool imho. For example, I own FloridaHomes.realty that Estibot/Epik appraises for $420, and FloridaHomes.com appraises for $60,000. I haven't checked to see what my entire .realty portfolio appraises for yet, but I'm guessing it's around 200K, and the .com equivalent appraises for over 2 Million dollars. It's been a blast accumulating these domains, now it's time start knocking on doors:xf.wink: Afterall i do own KnockKnock.realty:xf.smile:

Good luck and thanks for your post(y)

All the best to you "beginner guy". In some ways I still feel like a beginner, but the more you play/practice at this game the better you'll get. Curious....i don't know where you're from, but have you seen the new 2020 Corvette? I pulled up behind one today and was absolutely blown away...bare with me because I'm not off topic yet:xf.wink: I hadn't registered any .realty domains since early this am, but a few minutes ago I was able to register Corvette(.)realty. But wait, it gets even better. Miraculously i was able to register CorvetteRealty(.)com that's been on hold waiting for me since 2018. I then checked for any possible TM issues and there don't appear to be any, especially when you look up the definition of the word "corvette" and do a due diligence check with the USPTO. The new Corvette sells for between 60k and 80K, a real bargain when compared to other high end sports cars. Now I have an excellent reason to join the NAR, the National Association of Realtors.

Good Luck Vindo....have fun:xf.smile:

Congrats and I am amazed that there is no TM for "Corvette". (y) for NAR

Thanks vindo,

According to Merriam-Webster here is the definition of corvette;

Definition of corvette

1: a warship ranking in the old sailing navies next below a frigate
2: a highly maneuverable armed escort ship that is smaller than a destroyer

I was a little surprised too, but when I checked with the USPTO I learned that if I stuck with the Realty - Real Estate theme there probably wouldn't be any trouble. Furthermore, if all the agents who work for Corvette Realty drive Corvettes I would think General Motors would love:xf.love: it. That's just common sense talking:xf.wink:

vindo...i love India(y) One of my best friends Hiroo D. is from Inida and another doctor friend Dr. Talreja is from India. You probably already know this, but there are a lot of NP members from India. I'll share with you two more .realty domains I just bought and why. JustRight.realty and Slalom.realty. At least here in America the two word phrase "Just Right" is very popular. It's actually a softer version of "Perfect" and probably more fitting for the real estate business. As for Slalom.realty, i personally think it's "catchy" and appropriate for realtors at ski resorts like Vail, Heavenly Valley, and Aspen. I've personally skied at all three and I know if I were a realtor in a ski resort area I'd love to be known as "Slalom Realty". Does that make sense?

The circus start after 11 months, where approximately 98% of the registered names will be dropped as the Renewal fees is $ 199.

By seeing the definition of "corvette" ( a dictionary word, looks like generic. I may be wrong).
But hey, I also bought just one in .realty...Single/Family/Homes. What do you think?

So true, but I think the renewal is $299 and not $199. Regardless, i already own a dozen or so .com equivalents to the .realty names and I most likely will renew those that don't sell at $8.50. It's been just 18 days since .realty went on sale, and while time is of the essence, a full court press is scheduled to start January 1, 2021. In the interim 225 of my 325 .realty domains like Admiral.realty already have a landing page set up.

The full court press for .realty will consist of email marketing, some snail mail, telemarketing (most realtors take phone calls especially when another realtor is calling or someone interested in buying a home) and internet advertising.

The promo for the .99 cent domains runs through the end of November and while most of the real good names went fast, if you're creative you can still catch a few. For example, i just bought FreshStart.realty, and I bought the plural of Admiral.realty after determining that the plural is as good if not better than the singular. I happen to live i a Navy town, and my mother-in-law lives in a condo complex called Admirals Landing. That's when I realized I should pick up the plural, Admirals.realty.

Go .Realty

It should, but if not I can contact you using one of our previous threads. Talk later!

You are not wrong but may be you are. Only Time and @Bob Hawkes's reports will tell.

vindo...as of October 13th .realty had 14,130 registered domains, 12,273 of which are registered at Epik. I'm guessing that at least 10,000 are .99 cent registrations. I own a little over 3% of those and hope to sell from 2-5% of those that will be renewing their registration.

I noticed that .realtor has 29,800 DUM (Domains Under Management) and .realestate has 17,944 DUM. I don't know how much the .realtor renewal fee is, but the .realestate fee is 129.99 if you buy one from Go Daddy.

While most of the good one word .realty domains are taken as well as many of the key locations, there are still plenty of good two word domains...i just picked up NewRiver.realty (the New River runs for hundreds of miles through about six states), OceanHomes.realty and FastBreak.realty.

Also where the .com is available I'll tend to pick that up as well. For instance with FastBreak.realty I also picked up FastBreakRealty.com:xf.smile:

Sure, like PineHomes.realty. Had to Google BlackBuck and Hornbill....I had no idea what a BlackBuck was, but it sure is a beautiful beast. Names like that might work well in India, but I'm not so sure about the states. And the "Sparrow" names aren't well known here either.

Thanks for sharing. I found a source for hundreds of race horse names where some fit well with .realty like Brandy.realty and Taz.realty to name a few. Good Luck!

Thanks to everyone contributing to the thread, I just discovered this thread today, however, I have registered SouthJersey .Realty before now.

I don't know if it's a good hit or miss, I'm a newbie to this business/investment.

I don't know how to go about the outbound, I mean how to draft the sales letter for this .Reality

I know there's a lot of sales letter in this namepros, but I haven't seen the one suitable for this Extension.

I'm sorry for any grammatical errors, English is not my language, please if any body understood what I was saying please help.

Good luck to everybody who has grabbed .realty

Welcome to the domain biz...SouthJersey.realty is a good name, and your English is good too. I'm not sure if you mean letters or emails or both, but I'm currently working on a few that should be ready in about 30 days. I'm still accumulating .realty domains and just picked up; GoLo.realty, GoLow.realty and the equivalent .com's to go with them.

Ironically I've spent a lot of time at the Jersey Shore and I'd say to pick up JerseyShore.realty, but sadly someone already owns it. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for your response sir.

Please forgive my ignorance, so there's a difference between letter and email? I thought both are the same, where you compose a letter you want to send to an end user and send it as an email. That means I still have a lot to learn.

Please if you can share the both, I will highly appreciate it, take all your time you need I will gladly Wait.

Please quote this post when you are ready to share. Thanks once again.

I got 260 great pieces, all short meaningful one word ones.

However I realized I have no time for seo/etc, so I'm selling the lot and focusing on .coms next.

I'm also not too confident about "BlackBuck" and "Hornbill" because these are the name of a Deer & Bird which are native to India but may be this is their uniqueness. And surprised to hear about "Sparrow" because they resemble kind of healthy bond b/w Human & Nature also they are found across the globe. Something like "Nestle" . Thanks @ThatNameGuy for your comments.

Okay, I know I've officially reached my limit when I'm totally bummed out thinking someone else snag a great name only to realize that someone was me :)

Brad....that's really funny since I've done the same thing more than once. I have 346 .realty names now and I'm talking to a few other members about combining forces. If you'd like to join us just send me a DM and or go to my information page and reach me through Linkedin. The last thing I'll say is, while I'm not a super religions guy i did just register GodBless.realty. Regardless of who your God is, we all know who's really Boss, and it doesn't hurt to stroke The Boss:xf.smile: Enjoy your weekend.
