Craig...i grabbed a few more you might be familiar with;

Kangaroo.realty
KAO.realty
Koala.realty
Koalas.realty

I was hoping to pick up Reef.realty for the Great Barrier Reef, but someone beat me to it:xf.frown:

No loss there - there is no real estate anywhere near the Great Barrier Reef as it's in the ocean.

Is it a protected space? So no house boat agents to potentially pitch 🤔 😉

LOL - yes it's protected, and I've never heard of house boats on the ocean ;)

Hi, not sure what your goals are with the Aussie wildlife names. It's not really something that locals here go for in realty names.
I may be wrong, but as I mentioned in another post, I think the value in the .realty names is in geo and city names, and from what I saw, the rest of the good ones were taken - I was lucky to score the QLD.realty domain being the 3rd most populous state in Australia.
Once you start targeting generic names, you run the risk of trademark infringement of actual real estate companies using those generic names.

Check out https://www.ocean-beast.com/intro

They seem to think so, but no I think your probably right, I wouldn't risk it 🌧🌩😬

That looks like a very cool lifestyle! I imagine these sorts of boats are limited to anchoring in quiet coves. I cannot imagine anything like this on the GBR as it is offshore, and subject to weather/waves etc.

EDIT: The Great Barrier Reef extends in roughly a northwest-southeast direction for more than 1,250 miles (2,000 km), at an offshore distance ranging from 10 to 100 miles.

Guys, there are quite a few island (850-900 islands) on the GBR, and a few of them do have properties that you can buy/rent, having said that, they would have specific real estates they would use so the domain is still worth $0

or just buy or rent your own island - https://www.vladi-private-islands.de/en/islands-for-sale/australia-new-zealand/

https://www.luxuo.com/properties/re...sing-property-in-the-great-barrier-reef.html\

Thanks and I stand corrected!

I was thinking of the reef itself - not the islands aspect (duh) and assumed that Heritage and Marine Parks would not allow realty except for tourism purposes.

Funny...i had HouseBoat.realty on my second choice list to purchase. It was available to buy Monday, but I just checked and it's gone. That said Reef.realty would have made for a good name, but that was picked up on day one. However TheReef.realty is available and it just went on my list.

I actually own Bahama.realty and the population of the Bahama Islands is 389,000 as of 2019. I see where Uni aka Go Daddy has BahamaRealty.com for sale $7,499.

I don't disagree, but check out KoalaRealty.com. Who wouldn't want a Koala bear as their logo, and little stuffed ones to give to kids or adults for that matter. As for Geo names, I own my share of those too. I believe I mentioned in a prior post Bahama.realty is in my portfolio.

KoalaRealty is a Florida property agent. In my experience it is often non-Australians that choose business names like Koala and Kangaroo. Yes Koalas are cute and the kids love them.

Yes I saw you have some good geo names. Sorry if it sounded like I was lecturing you about geo names. I was up quite late last night ;)

Not to worry Craig...i just got around to pricing my first .realty domain Seaport.realty, and now that I know how to do it I guess I'll spend the next week or so pricing another 180 of them. After that I plan on working with Linkedin to get some exposure for .realty there. At 73 years old I'm a technical disaster, and what comes easy to many, is a huge challenge for me:xf.frown: Thanks for your input and humble words....i really appreciate it. btw, my restriction here prohibits me from thanking, agreeing or liking your posts.THANKS(y)

If I can do it so can you, I am a year older.
Brings up the thought how many 70 plus domainers are on NP's!

Many of the names can use the same lander so you can bulk price etc.I would not use sterling as the currency though as UK not really associated with realty.

wot you say:xf.eek: Seriously, you're right. Not sure, but i think I just bought my best two names; Wicked.realty and WickedRealty.com to accompany it. Estibot valued Wicked.realty @ $1,600 and GD the .com @ $1,483. I may even pick up WickedMortgage.com to go with it.

Thanks for the push wot(y)
