This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

I had many domains names that were about to be expired in one month, and I listed them for $99 at godaddy Afternic and some of them got sold, he must have done the same.

No, I list most of my names at $1500 to $2499. Depending on the name, Few even at $10000+. These are those which are about to expire & I don't want to renew(Hardly 15-25 names). Its great to let them go respectfully at this price instead of letting them expire at higher BIN.

good thinking... I guess often itll take more than a month to sell even at low bin....but money is money so if they'll expire anyway..might be worth try....then at same time we all had makeoffr only listings that sold for 4 figures...in last month b4 expiry...or even one month past expiry and beyond at some recovery fee to get them back...

That depends on the buyer as well as some luck. For example one of the domain name that I handregged and didn't like it, even wanted to sell for regsitration cost, one day $1K offer received and sold it.
