Interested to know the value of gpa.net

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I would say $10000~$50000.

Stop posting B.S. appraisal.
Which part didn't you understand?
What is the problem with his appraisal? I'd also say it's worth about $50k, maybe more

Why not? I thought freedom of speech here.:xf.grin:
I don't know him. I'm just talking about the value I personally think.

No only in the thread but in every appraisal threads you keep posting nonsense appraisal in every appraisal thread which may give the member the wrong impression about the real value of the name.
It's very dangerous as the OP may believe you and keep buying crap names.
I sold hundred of LLL.net and none of them can even go to $5,000 with the exception of some names.

You keep posting $xxx-$x,xxx appraisal even with crap names.
You need to stop doing this as it does not help the newbies at all.

I think this board itself is a place where people could give their opinions, rather than forbidding everyone to express their personal opinions. Otherwise, why should this forum open such a section? Or do you think everyone will obey me without Independent thinking?
I've never claimed, like some people, how many domain names I've sold.
Because I think everyone has the right to judge and speak.

Sir,You should understand the real meaning of this forum section, not the use of word "crap" in your word.

The freedom to TROLL?
I am done with you.

I did not mean to cause any friction, am only looking for some input from persons who know the domain business. I am not a domain broker, I've owned this domain for over 20 years and just recently took down my site and decided to sell the domain.

Great name.

I would try doing some outreach to private education companies, colleges/universities.

My guess they are perhaps the people to give you the best price if you are selling.

Great name and good luck.

He is a troll

He does not offer an opinion just quotes random figures

On this thread has quoted a 10k - 50k evaluation - this is just plucking figures from his behind and hoping for the best

It is a 3 letter acronym not a 3 letter word - the majority of the big sales with 3 letter .net have been words, there are acronym sales in the list below but they are in the minority

There have only ever been 30 reported sales over 20k and only 12 over 40k - so when someone flippantly says this can sell for up to 50k without providing any reasoning behind it then I personally find it a joke.....

Also there has only been 2 sales in the last 2 years at 20k or over for 3L .net - shows how difficult will be getting a high price for this domain

I personally don't know the value of this domain but when someone keeps spouting BS they need to be called out........

Do you know the inflation caused by currency oversupply ?
Do some people ask you to help ?
OK, I'll give you back what you said, you are a huge troll. (your words) @NickB

People need advice. I give my own.
I just don't think it's good to impose negative thoughts on others.

"crap" , "troll" , "need to be called out " (all your words), nope. I believe this is an open forum.

As a person who is not a native English speaker, I know these are not good words. I will not say them to others as soon as they meet .

Hope you two too. @NickB @johnn

You may find that many times I am the first person to reply
only because I see many posts that have not been answered for a long time.
I don't want new people to think it's a utilitarian forum and lose confidence , then leave.
Though I'm new here too.

I don't laugh at other people's domain names as "crap", because I know that every domain name has already paid for it. Just because they have no experience, the domain name seems to have some problems.

I'm not going to drive away those who want to help and call them "troll". Because I know that they don't charge any fees and spend their time giving advice to others. They are good people.

Maybe my level is not that high, but before I give my advice, I refer to the records of namebio and the average price of the same domain names being sold by afternic, Dan and Sedo,
I mainly checked the meaning of the domain name with the meaning, length, suffix, prefix sales record ,potential buyers.I've done this, but I won't write a long paragraph because maybe other people have other ideas, like you said, don't mislead people. So I only talk about my own ideas. If someone don't allow people to speak here, what's the meaning of this forum.

What you see is the estimate given by others, but you don't know that other people spend time thinking about it. You think it's just random numbers because you do it yourself. You were perfunctory. @NickB

Even if I can't use Google and many tools like you , for some reason. I tried.

I like to help others, maybe my level is not that high, but I still choose to be a positive helper.

How thick a report do you think a free assessment should provide?

Put half of the effort into your appraisals that you put into this post then it will benefit those that you are trying to help...

Random figures help no one, provide some reasoning, data, comparisons etc....and share it....this is the way to help people learn, especially those new to the industry

Until you do that it is just a figure which helps no one, even in other threads when the OP follows up and asks why or how you came up with a figure you do not reply back, how is that helping?

I find it hard to believe you put that much effort into it when there are plenty of examples of you giving multiple appraisals in under 10min....

If you can't be bothered to provide a basic explanation then why bother? It helps no one....

Also, when was the last i quoted a random figure?....been a long time
