ABC Town Hall Masquerades Anti-Trump Activists as ‘Uncommitted’ Voters [Washington Free Beacon]
Multiple voters characterized by ABC News as undecided—and selected to pepper President Donald Trump with questions during a network town hall—are longtime Trump critics. While the network claimed its Tuesday town hall "provided uncommitted voters the opportunity to ask the president questions about issues affecting Americans," a Washington Free Beacon review of social media posts found that two of the questioners have long denounced Trump.

‘It’s a big, big swing’: Trump loses ground with white voters

In Minnesota, where the contest between Trump and Joe Biden had seemed to tighten in recent weeks — and where both candidates stumped on Friday — a CBS News/YouGov survey last week had Trump running 2 percentage points behind Biden with white voters, after carrying them by 7 points in 2016. Even among white voters without college degrees — Trump’s base — the president was far short of the margin he had against Hillary Clinton.

It’s the same story in Wisconsin, where Trump won noncollege-educated white women by 16 percentage points four years ago but is now losing them by 9 percentage points, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Biden raised $150,000,000+ more than Trump in August.

So Biden is doing better than Hillary was at the same time. And Biden is just crushing Trump in raising money. September should be even better with this new Supreme Court pick since you guys are getting excited about going against the majority of Americans. Again, the majority favor the right to choose.

Thanks Trump and Trumpers for firing up the Left, more than you're firing up your own base. Just like I said would happen. Polls, money being raised, all favor Biden. We're only less than a month and half away.

August 2020 Monthly Campaign Committee Reports

Biden
  • Total raised in August: $212,181,474

Trump
  • Total raised in August: $61,750,338

Biden supporters are probably working so Trump supporters can live off them or they are at home because there is a pandemic.
I'm looking for some stats on it, but most surveys don't track these metrics together, unemployment rate vs. voting preference.

There's this study from PEW Research back in 2012, that captured political leaning for food stamps recipients, saying that "Democrats are about twice as likely as Republicans to have received food stamps at some point in their lives" but with a catch: "when the political lens shifts from partisanship to ideology, the participation gap vanishes. Self-described political conservatives were no more likely than liberals or moderates to have received food stamps (17% for each group), according to the survey".

---------
More recently analysts tried to derive an indirect measurement (quora contributor, with sources indicated) from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study data, that for 2016 collected over 64000 responses, and the snapshot indicated 45.8% unemployed respondents identified as Democrats vs. 25% as Republican. From the same database, another analyst came up with this graphic for 2020 so far:

"Republican leaders have spent months promoting the myth that red low-tax states are subsidizing blue high-tax states because of the deduction for state and local taxes.

An Associated Press Fact Check finds it’s actually the other way around. High-tax, traditionally Democratic states (blue), subsidize low-tax, traditionally Republican states (red) — in a big way."

Also, earlier in the thread I posted how Red States rank last/worse in Education. All kinds of stats/studies on that.

First, states that were coded as blue based upon results from the 2004 presidential election were significantly higher in education funding than were states coded as red. Students in blue states scored significantly higher on outcome measures of math and reading in grades four and eight than did students in red states.

Average Democrat voter has a higher level of education than the average Republican voter.

Look in this thread.

Who speaks out against fact sites?

Who speaks out against Universities? Thinking they'll take your child and implant liberalism or whatever the latest fear is.

Who thinks it's smart to not wear masks during a pandemic?

There are interpretations to the contrary, depending on which dimension you look at, for example amount received per resident:
Against a national average of $1,935 in intergovernmental spending per American, red states receive $1,879. Blue states get more, at $2,124 per resident. [The Federalist, Nov. 2017]
For one thing: no state receives more in intergovernmental transfers than its citizens and corporations pay in federal taxes. The state that gets the most back in intergovernmental transfers is a blue state, New Mexico, at 80.27 percent. Red states West Virginia and Mississippi are the only other two that get back more than half of their taxes in this form of spending (67.30 percent and 63.12 percent, respectively).
Behind the Misleading Statement That Blue States Subsidize Red States [Townhall, May 2020]
Now it’s true that the average taxpayer in blue states pays a higher per capita income tax than the average taxpayer in red states. But that’s because those states — particularly Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and California — have more rich people. Don’t the Democrats want the rich paying their fair share?
As for blue states allegedly getting back less, what numbers are they looking at? It is true that red states receive 35.75 percent on average of their budgets from the federal government, while blue states receive 30.80 percent. But this is because the blue states’ budgets are far larger due to all the bloat and waste. The 10 states in the best fiscal condition are almost all red states. The 10 states with the worst numbers in the red are almost all blue states.

Average Democrat voter has a higher level of education than the average Republican voter.

We've addressed these topics many times in the thread, Radical Left wing indoctrination in universities, the so called "fact checkers" bias and mask effectiveness, not going to repeat everything. Just an observation that the mask is effective for looters to interfere with face recognition, much less to stop an airborne virus. Good for the particles hitching a ride on water droplets, just that what's airborne still gets around it. Who's to blame for the anti-mask sentiment is the face covered violent Antifa, rioters, looters, arsonists... probably if it wasn't for them you would see more people accepting it just to please the others who are strictly in its favor.

Like I said, only Trumpers would think getting a higher education is radical.

As far as fact checkers, I've yet to see one of you take apart a fact check article. Next time I use Snopes, FactCheck.org or Polifact, instead of crying about the source I use, take it apart. Tell me what part of the article is wrong. Very next time I use them as a source, you step up to the plate.

And then you're posting yet more nonsense about masks. Typical. It's what I posted earlier, the big reach around party among Trumpers. People post nonsense and it doesn't get checked, it gets liked and repeated. The Trumper Party is really an embarrassment to this country. It's so bad, that's why many Republicans will be voting for Biden, the real Silent Majority this time. The whole Trump Error will be clowned on in the history books. Grandparents will have to hide the fact they were a Trumper from their grandkids. Documentaries will be made about this, like one big dumb cult.

-----------
What was posted earlier, this sums up what most of the country thinks of Trumpers. Really have become a fringe element:

"We have to beg people to wear a mask to save their own dumb ass from getting sick?"

"40% of the country looks at [Trump's idiocy] and says, 'I'm with stupid'."

what will be really interesting historically with the 2020 election will be how the Democratic party attempted to overthrow the US Republic .... and instead of just coming out and trying to dialogue about a change .... the methods democrats used will go down as evil and cruel. All of you democrats are wolves dressed in sheep's clothing right now. I think being on the right side of history is very important right now because once this history is written it is going to expose the whole scandal... we are getting very near that point now.... it wont be long

The Republicans have brought no resistance to the Democratic movement at all... hardly counter protests have occurred... yet the democrats still insist on calling Republicans a cult among many other names... we have done nothing to anyone.... yet

Namerson above seems to be just a little better than the rest, because he quotes and links to stuff, then went bat-shit crazy with his last paragraph. Then you just tried to outdo him with yet another bat-shit crazy post.

I have to remind myself we have the first conspiracy nutter President, Trump being one of the original Birthers, plus the Chinese causing global warming and other dumb shit he's said over the years. So I guess he attracts some of the same, like the bat-shit crazy Q-Anons. It's like the Weirdo Party.

I mean some really nutty stuff posted by you guys.
