Ever happened to send like a list of 10-15 domains in a single outbound mail and happened to sell like one or multiple names?
How was the experience?
Did you have you undersell due to the multiple domains or did you get a good bulk deal while selling?

I think it's a terrible idea. Makes it look like you have nothing of value (since you have so many that "fit the criteria").

Also, if you can send a list of 10-15 domain to one end user, there's a 100% chance your outbound emails aren't targeted.

1 targeted domain > 15 spam domains.

They will confuse even with one spam email and one name.

I heard of someone sell 100s of domains on one single outbound. But that is not domaining. I think the buyer was making so much money from local business rank and rent, that he didn't want to bother searching for the domains and just paid $90 per domain. Buyer was an SEO agency. Seller is from namepros

Ideally there should be only 1 domain per mail. Once you close the deal then you can research the website of the buyer and cross check with your own portfolio and offer him multiple domains relevant to him/her..

Another point is that once you sell a domain to a buyer via outbound then you develop a comfort zone with the buyer and he probably would be open to purchase more domains from your existing portfolio which is not the case when you send multiple domains in single mail.

Sometime outbound process doesn't work , but I set the goal to make more money , I usually make a call , meet with the prospect, especially in my country and give them special gift before closing the sale.

When I believe that they need the domain , I am confidence to reach them over than 10 - 20 time or more, cause I must make a sale and I ask my self to do everything in certain time. I set the price minimum $1,999 or more , never sell under $1,000

Thanks for this thread. I sent out an email with like 10 domains listed, going to focus on targeting to get better prices I think.

I agree. This is a terrible idea.

The more options you present, the less likely you are to sell one.

The question is...
Why would you throw in 10-15 domains (I assume with a short description for each of them) when you're not even sure that they are interested in acquiring one?

They receive hundreds (if not thousands) of emails daily.
Just like a CV when you apply for a job, keep it clean and simple.

I did that once. Never worked! Looks like that is indeed a terrible idea. But when experimenting, it made sense to try it first hand and see. Didn't work!

What! This is a fluke! Not scalable it seems!

Makes sense! Never tried actively asking the same buyer for other names that may match their preferences. But I think I should.

And what kind of names are we looking here?

It's needless. If you want to expose more domains, simply add a signature with your portfolio link. Voila!
