Whats with the bumping up?
Try to read threads on NP as much as possible and understand how domaining works.
I would suggest to start from beginners section.
https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-beginners.25/
There are very good tips and explanations in that section. Good luck 👍

6-20 dollars is not even close to being in the market for a 4l... you couldnt even get a 4l .net

Consider hand reg names / sell those , continue until you have a few hundred lined up. now start finding names in the correct price range ~$80+ I could be wrong but this is generally the case. Lower you go the harder it will be to find them.

not trying to be rude, but spend your time in more useful ways. If you find a 4l.com -> for 1 dollar, it will actually cost you $2000 + if you factor the time it took you to find it.

if you access shortnames.com - you can see LLLL stats and graphs. as long as I know - very few people have lost money by investing in 4Letter .com only. Just make sure it's not that hard to pronounce. Or the acronyms mean something.

before investing in 4L.com here are some advices I learnt the hard way (by losing money):

  • Invest in educating yourself & read as much as you can, this applies in domains & anything you want to invest in.
  • Do NOT rush or jump on an auction just cause you think it's a good deal. There are AMAZING deals EVERYDAY. Take your time & NEVER RUSH!
  • check the history of the domain by searching for the WHOIS & archive.org (a service called wayback) that will let you have an estimate of how old is this domain cause something you may find that domain has been registered in 2019 where in fact it got registered way back maybe in 2000 and that was because it was dropped and re-registered.
  • before buying a domain check if it has been sold before on Namebio.com
  • Shortnames.com is a good site but is limited to few markets (mostly GoDaddy). Try expireddomains.net as it has MANY more markets.
  • before you decide to buy a domain for let's say $100. Ask yourself, do you want to keep it for let's say 5 years or you would like to sell it next month. your $100 might be worth $150 or more in few years, but might go down to $90 next week if you have bought it at the maximum price.
  • Finally, do not invest with your emotions, use your brain. Very few people here can turn 50 into a thousand.
I hope this helps as we all have to start somewhere. welcome to the club!
