That SSL AT LEAST costs 9,60 USD per year (0,80/month) per domain at Namesilo is a very sad thing : Everybody who buys domains at Namesilo has to read this as follows => that amount (9,60 USD/year) has to be added to the domainnameprice people buy at Namesilo. Because Google and other defencemechanisms mark the webites otherwise as "RISKY". In my case I can't even visit websites without SSL anymore or these are marked as risky and blocked. Of course you can opt not to take SSL, but your site won't be seen on several browsers where defencemechanisms against not encrypted sites are installer or to be safe is necessary, and because also the owners and Google have put defencemechanisme or give very low ratings to your website if it has no SSL. But indeed without SSL, it costs 1,19 for a .top here at Namesilo, and that's "cheap." but not so if SSL costs money IMHO.
NOW : MOST REGISTRARS CHAREGE MONEY FOR SSL, BUT THIS WILL HAVE TO CHANGE.

When registrars don't begin FROM NOW ON giving SSL FOR FREE...... if you compare domainprices, YOU ALWAYS have to look if they charge money for SSL.and how much that is for a domain per year that SSL costs EXTRA. It should be SSL by default as a FREE SERVICE.
SSL should be FREE BY DEFAULT !!
And it has begun.... several registrars like Porkbun, Dynadot, Epik, etc.... are beginning to understand that and are beginning to give some SSL for free. OKE it's with a special kinda free service given by a special entity, but in the long run they'll all have to give SSL FOR FREE or internet is not reachable or safe anymore.

What also is a sad thing is that in the grace period after expiration you can't transfer the domain OUT to another registrar, you can only renew at Namesilo.

Just to clarify, on our platform, SSL comes with our hosting packages and wouldn't apply to singular domains. But per your comment, we do currently offer free SSL with automatic renewals on our turbo hosting packages. We are also looking into extending this to our other hosting packages as well but there are certain limitations and costs with that that we're working through. In the meantime, you are able to procure a free SSL certificate manually and install it on your website. And thank you kindly for your feedback.
