I sold a Pokémon name .com for $10,000 USD (Please see the attachment for the name) via Afternic:

This is my second 5-figure sale at Afternic after Asia 888 (dotcom) for $10,000 USD last month.

I grabbed both names from expired auctions at only $xx USD low to mid each without competition and originally I didn't expect that they could be sold for 5-figure each, thanks dotDB for helping me to dig out the number of potential buyers and Afternic for finding me the right buyers.

Congratulations bro. But being a pokemon fan I gotta say that this isn't even a pokemon name. It is a character from a video game called temtem from last year. I guess it was sold as it is brandable and 5 letters and easy to remember. Imo it is not possible to get this high price on a in game character name that is not that popular too!!

I decided to list my domains for sale at Afternic after reading the series of articles "Afternic experiment" that he wrote on his blog, and it is only about two months past I've already sold two 5 figure domains and received numerous inquiries/offers, Afternic works like a charm!! I appreciate AbdulBasit very much.

Oops... thanks for correction!! I don't play video games after 20 so I don't really know the difference between Pokemon and TemTem... they look all the same to me. lol
