Hey

I see that Epik has increased the transfer price from $7.99 to $8.49? Is there any other reputed registrar running any good .com offers?

Have a good day.
Thanks

Dynadot.com, $7.99.

Promo Code: COMTRANS4

Free privacy and as good as epik.com. They also have Afternic fast transfer service.

Namecheap has 30% off with WELCOME30 code for new accounts. I do not know if this will work for a transfer. Discount price may be $6.22 + ICANN fee

Update.
I tried this. This promo code is valid only for new registrations. Not valid for transfer.

You can login to the dynadot.com account and see the code. I think it's the same as before.

how to transfer to cf? do you need a hosting with them for transferring?

you create a dns ( nameserver ) with them
and then you can transfer
be sure to use the free version

no promo
they have that non markup fee

Thanks Frank. No Limit? probably a limit of 10 or 100 right?

This offer the way you have to set up a DNS server with that sounds similar to Hostgator's which I don't trust as I have read bad reviews about them.

How is CloudFlare treating you?

hey @frank-germany I checked out cloudflare. I'm a bit lost. how exactly do you set up an account so I can start transferring domains over for that price you said?

I signed up. now what? I can't seem to find the section you are talking about to see up the free version of the dns server? Am I supposed to register a domain with them first to have an account?

add an existing domain to their system free plan
after you changed nameservers
there'll be a menu
to transfer that name
( check right-hand site)

its a little confusing, agreed

Thanks Frank. just to be clear. I don't have to do all of that for EACH domain I transfer right? just the first one I transfer to set up the account?

do they have bulk option? I could just check of course but just thought I'd ask real quick.

How is CloudFlare overall? I've seen their name in the nameservers of some domains I've checked out via whois but never thought of them as a handreg and transfer domain "option".

compare them to say Dynadot or Namesilo or LCN what would you rate them?

Any quirks or issues? like slow to respond or no phone support or live support?

I managed to use them
you will, too

namepros runs on cloudflare nameservers

oh really? cool. Well my concern was finding a spot to transfer out some dynadot domains. the best place right now would have been to transfer TO Dynadot lol price wise but that can't happen right now.

oddly Godaddy seems to be running a $7.99 price right now for transfers same as Dynadot and what Epik was doing on occasion. Strange no one mentions this. everyone seems to be just promoting Dynadot's current transfer special which ends end of this month in a couple of days for $7.99 per transfer me.

in that case I might as well transfer it to a registrar I am familiar with. even though Godaddy isn't really my "first choice" lately.

Would have gone with @Epik.com instead.

do they make it difficult to transfer out? like when you sell a domain? any quirks we should know about that might cause a problem?

is there a limit? is this a limited time offer? if so when does it end?

risk $8 usd and try it yourself
