I'm curious if you have found any alternatives to Efty? What are your thoughts?

Thanks for the tag @Bob Hawkes - it's not just domain name investors that sometimes confuse us with the handmade & crafty e-commerce site Etsy. We quite often get support tickets from Etsy users who are wondering where their handmade facemask or bracelet is :)

As pointed out already, the Efty platform is widely used by experienced sellers (and most brokers) who are confident in handling their own leads and maximize the deal size by having full access to the buyer details and putting deals in place without paying any commission.

Since we launched Efty in 2015 we've seen many alternatives come and go. Some better than the others and one of them was so good that we acquired them. Competition keeps us on our toes and as a result we always keep improving the platform and adding new features. This year so far it may have seen a bit quiet from our end with regards to announcements but that's because we're working very hard on a significant update that hopefully will shake up the industry and blow your socks off.

I love Efty! Just discovered Efty 2wks ago and glad I did! Enjoy the ease of navigation and straightforward lists of my domain names and expiry dates!! Customer Support is Outstanding! Keeps me organized as I continue obtaining more and more domain names (*newbie domainer here) (y)

Thank you for the mention, @Peak.Domains.

We will be announcing new features very shortly that will take DMP even further above and beyond the closest competitor.

Any chance you can fix existing core features before worrying yourself about new ones?

I mean, in principle this is the best hosted marketplace on the market.... I mean, its amazing. Should be talked about more.

At least, it would be amazing if there wasn't simple errors with critical functions, this is the search bar on a mobile (and its the same on my wifes mobile).... its not responsive?

I'm getting daily invoice reminders but sitting here asking myself why I should continue, a marketplace needs that search box and in 2020 has to work on mobiles and tablets.

This is odd. We are looking into this issue. What mobile device are you using? Is your wife's the same?

I'm on a Motorola Moto G6 Play android phone, same on my wife's iPhone 8.

Also the same if you zoom in on a desktop, its a problem with the search box not being responsive.

Decided not to renew but will check out again in the future. To summarise my frustrations:

  1. The broken search bar, not responsive. I notice your search bar on Nameoptions does work. This is fundamental, the thing you have to fix if you want people paying top tier level to start an marketplace for multiple sellers, I did actually report this a few weeks back.
  2. The 'Domains on Sale' list on the homepage can be renamed, e.g. I can call it 'Dictionary Domains' but when clicking browse all the title will still be 'Domains on Sale' in the title. I don't want to have a discounted domains section.
  3. There really needs to be an option for prominent 'browse all domains' button on the homepage, which doesn't take you to a category list but to a list of all domains.
  4. There's a monetisable lander which is great, but I'd want to direct domains straight to the sales page rather than use nameservers, and so ad spots on the sales page would suit me better. I know I can select 'header' or 'footer' as add position, but unfortunately this also inserts ads into the category pages where I don't want them with no option to exclude them from this position.
A bit of a shame as put some serious hours into playing with this and adding domains, and I do appreciate the level of effort you've put into building this hosted option so far.

Thanks.

Hi there. I sent you a DM as I don´t want to hijack this thread.

Really appreciate your feedback.

We are working on improving existing functionality on a continuous basis.

You can redirect domains to the sales pages using DNS rather than landing pages.

We are reviewing your suggestions.

Thanks,
Tom
