I always find January to be a great month for domain name sales as many (wannabe) entrepreneurs have come up with new businesses ideas, projects, products or services over the holiday period which results in increased traffic and interest in good domain names.

I thought it would be fun to share which domains of yours were the first ones to receive some love in this new decade. Feel free to share any details such as the offer, country of the interested party or if the inquiry has led to a sale.

I'll start:

All received on January 2nd.

Brisk/io - price request
BadMonkey/com - price request
MoralSupport/com - price request

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It's a lowballers world.
Funny thing is that they come in like they are doing you a favour.

The $10 offer on the 4L was like, "That's my final offer".

Got me wondering if I had a twin somewhere, with the exact domain name, who had been in talks with him before. I just flat out rejected the offer without countering.

Yes, especially 2020. Nearly 2 dozen low ball offerts. But I still answer every one of them.

I turned a $122 offer into a $1200 sale in about a 1/2 day, only a few days ago. Details to come on "report completed domain name sales" thread...

The first offer I received was for a one word .com in 1996. It’s the whole reason I’m a Domainer today.

That's a scam going around lately. According to some victims, after the transfer of your domain, it's always one thing or the other remaining before your account becomes eligible for withdrawal.

PS: Your account will never make it to the point of eligibility. Most victims only realize this after parting with the domain and some cash.

I think its cool to wait for a bigger one. A $16k bid was laid and it means they want the domain. There are business on other extensions and lots of variations. Works in both crypto and supply chain. Huge industries. I think this name will go for six figs so in my opinion a good call to hold on to it

The individual who made a $16 k offer that I declined has come back with a new offer of $39 k. I respectfully declined, but I did accept $488 for a hand Reg domain today. It was on my drop list so that’s a no brainer. Google search Digital Chain and look at all the cool articles regarding digital transformation in this new digital world we are living in.

I like how you made a single-page website for it. That it happens to rank on the first page for search query 'digital chain' is a plus.

I make customized landers for quite a few of my premium domains. It helps rank higher on google search when you have an active fb/Instagram page as well as twitter. I haven’t spent a dollar to rank either, just a lot of time. 😁

It should come up page 1 on google search for Digital Chain.
