Due to English is not my 1st language, I wonder in your country you tend to put VR in front as prefix or after as suffix?

most my registration are VR+keyword...

As prefix and there is a reason. When you put it as prefix, it works as driver for the domain's meaning. It helps the visitor to understand from the first moment what kind the name is about. For example:
VrCooking.com is a lot more to the point than CookingVr.com
I explained the reason above. VrCooking.com focuses a lot more to the virtual nature of the domain.

Is there any exception?
Holovr or Vrholo?
VReducation or EducationVR?
LifeVR or VRlife?
OpenVR or VROpen?
CryptoVR or VRcrypto?
FitnessVR or VRfitness?
VRfinancials or FinancialVR?
Kind of confused...sometimes I feel reversed version sounds better.(n)
I got these in some ngtlds, .co, .online and .xyz.

VR has to be first thanks for the examples proving it.

Agree with all of the replies above. For people visiting the site, having VR as a prefix does indeed give more of an indication that there is a virtual reality nature to the domain. Also in speech VR does seem to roll of the tongue a bit smoother.

All depends on what each individual company is looking for. For branding purposes there are many companies who prefer VR at the end of a keyword.

Like most in this thread I do prefer VR at the beginning in most circumstances. But I have specifically sold vr domains in bulk to a company who were interested in only keyword + vr because that is what matched their current branding preference.

Thank you, I think you’re right, my feeling is putting vr in front is more recognizable I would prefer it if possible to reg, but vr at the end feels more like a brand.

“vr” at the end seems like bizarro world version

Go with the prefix imo

What about cities? I think it sounds more natural when VR at the end:
NewYorkVR (New York Virtual Reality)
NYVR
ChicagoVR (Chicago Virtual Reality)
LVVR (Las Vegas Virtual Reality)

Well the names I sold were not reported to namebio but here are some respectable example of sales that can help you decide:

massvr $15,000
18vr $10,001
bestvr $9,000

Lots of companies have already branded with VR at the end as well. A quick google search will bring lots of results showing companies that chose to brand this way, lots of the time the vr + keyword would have been available to them as well but they chose to have vr at the end.

Sometimes another thing to consider is that the vr + keyword might not be achievable for a company to buy because either its priced too high or is already in use. They therefore have the option of investigating in the alternative.

I sold FashionAR (.com) for $5,000 this way as the alternative was not available.

Also 2 days ago I sold musicXR (.com) for $x,xxx range so I definitely don't see tech acronyms at the end of words being junk.

More examples of extended reality sales like this are:

myXR $17,000
geniusXR $6,500

Good luck(y)

That’s very amazing sales, I think you find a good opportunity while domainers squatting their vr+keywords and offering the price too high(maybe), I am kind of confused maybe different countries see them in different way, were your clients from US or Other countries? Or people have different answers because they have vr+keywords more? In English logically VR+keyword makes more sense right?

Well the bulk domain Keyword + VR sale was to one of the largest adult companies who were formed in the USA

FashionAR was sold to fortunefish who are one of the most famous gaming companies in the UK.

So both these were sold to companies where English is their native language.

Really depends on name I think. For me, some names sound much better with VR in front and others with VR in the back.

For example:
I like "VR Hotels" much more than "Hotels VR"
I like "Halloween VR" much more than "VR Halloween".

Thank you very much for nice explanation. I'm newbie in domaining world. I've found a good name where VR is first keyword. But Second word doesn't seem to match with it, although Only 5 letters are there. Should I register the domain? Can I resell it easily?
Thanks again

I would not like to advise on this without even knowing the name and even then there is never a guarantee that a domain name will sell easily.

I would say search Google to see if you can see anyone mention the keyword you are mentioning as that could be an indication as to potential parties that might have an interest in your name.

Also look at namebio to see if there have been any worthwhile sales for the keyword you are thinking about registering in the vr equivalent.

Good luck.

It depends, both can be used, as required

there can be names like VR+word, VRFilm, VRtools, VRCam, etc

also, (Made up word)+VR, LevVR.com, BoxVR.com, WatchVR.com and likewise

Cheers

It depends. Get both if they are able to be acquired! If I like the word, I'll try to get it prefix and suffix, and in both VR and XR, plus maybe some variations of the word. I would try to sell all of these together as a package. If it's not worth this investment to you, it's probably not worth owning at all. You're selling a brand. You don't want your buyer having competition for control of their brand identity.

The names I have sold have been Keyword + VR or XR.

I don't like plural much but I would maybe do prefix + plural, and try to avoid plural + suffix.

Concur with the entirety of the answers above. For individuals visiting the site, having VR as a prefix does without a doubt give a greater amount of a sign that there is a computer generated experience nature to the area. Likewise in discourse VR seems to move of the tongue a piece smoother.
