I don’t think Trump can deploy any military on the US citizens with out a Congress approval?? Correct me if I am wrong

There is this:

"The Insurrection Act is a law, passed in 1807, that gives the president the power to deploy active U.S. military troops on U.S. soil.

It was used in 1992, when the governor of California requested federal assistance in response to riots in Los Angeles, but has not been enacted since then, according to Just Security."

Active Duty U.S. Military Forces deploying to DC. Showing up at White House right now. Bunker Boy is holing himself in.
Do you have a link to that @JB Lions? I googled it but couldn’t find anything, probably using wrong search term or something

I would like to see the video for the previous minute or so, it picks up right as the people get run over, but there is no background, did the people jump in front trying to stop the truck, did the truck go after the pedestrians, there is no context to frame the answer as to whether he should or should not have pushed forward.
If I find a more complete version, I'll put it up. I usually look for complete videos...

I was watching it on CNN. That was the title they had up, just copied it here. Not seeing an article on it yet either.

wholly shit, thanks for the confirmation, this isn’t good at all, I hope Trump doesn’t deploy any, he isn’t thinking straight by his recent tweets, he is inciting instead of defusing

Twitter better. Not quite clear. Active Military, Active duty Military Police, National Guard, it's being reported different ways. Probably will be more clear later.

Active troops, military vehicles guard the White House

Or National Guard
National Guard troops deployed near White House after Trump calls for military show of force

Live on CNN right now, Military Police. Right on their shields.

I was actually detained briefly by MP's as a kid for climbing a 3 story fence that had barbed wire on the top. It was a shortcut for my friends and I to get to the bowling alley on base for hot dogs and videos games. They were nice. Dad was not happy.

Trump doesn't win by backing down, it's just the nature of his personality. He will strike a deal but only in pursuit of his agenda. This is why he beat Hillary, every other candidate would have spent the entire campaign season apologizing for this alleged breach or that alleged breach, he just said whatever and fired back even harder. This is what he does. He is not real big on subtle, he does not apologize if that is going to give his opponents a gotcha moment, and he will not be denied if he has a strategy he thinks will win the objective or further his agenda.

No other Republican could have stood up to the onslaught of unfair slurs and tactics both before and after the election. Biden doesn't have the toes to face Trump in a debate, they could give him the questions ahead of time and he would still get crushed.

But like I said before that won't matter, they will find a replacement, something to create excitement at the convention.

If I asked you guys who is better at debate:

Trump or Sanders

Most would say Sanders. Biden went 1 on 1 with him on stage, beat him.

And these candidates are just such opposing candidates, I don't think debates even really matter this time. Who is really undecided if they want Biden or Trump.

The latest ABC News/Wash Post has Biden up 10%

This video shows truck escaping on the highway, but being stopped at a police checkpoint

That's all I can find.

A good discussion on Twitter, some interesting comments:

"The NRA spent millions to help elect Sen. Tom Cotton in Arkansas so he’d support his constituents’ “right” to use guns to threaten and kill tyrannical government officials, but now he’s a tyrannical government official making threats to kill his constituents."

"Looting IS a problem. Trump & the GOP have looted a trillion dollars from workers & handed it to billionaires."

I sincerely hope this is the right decision, it is very very serious to deploy military on US soil, I feel the national guard alone could help local and state police stop the burning , looting and violence. The allowance of more force was justified 3 days ago, but it never happened and now we have billions in damage and some loss of life because of it.

We'll see. They did it in 1992 for the riots in L.A. This is more widespread. Then the CNN lady said first time since 1807. So have to check on the LA riots stuff.

I see Machine Gun Kelly joining the protestors calling for peace. Why if more people listened to his enlightened music we wouldn't have these problems. What a great man. Let's ponder his deep thoughts:

“Look, I got a bullet with somebody’s name on it/I get up on ‘em, I don’t need no aim on it/Killed me a G.O.A.T. so my jacket got stains on it/Wipin’ my nose like I got some cocaine on it/Pulled out his coffin and ate me a plate on it/Called up his b****, showed my d***, let her lay on it.”

This isn't a good look, the photo op stuff with the bible, in front of the church.

So Trump said he can send in the military, they're saying on TV it has to come at the request of the State government. Gov of Illinois on TV said the same thing.

he was saying “Any” Governor who refuses to bring enough force to stop the violence , he will send in military himself, something like that

Yep, he said that. Doesn't look he can tho, according to some lawyers, Governors I'm listening to. So I'm guessing the Governor of California made that request in 1992 and the military went in to help with those L.A. riots.

L.A. riots:
"By the time the riots ended, 63 people had been killed, 2,383 people had been injured, more than 12,000 had been arrested, and estimates of property damage were over $1 billion,"

"Peaceful protesters near White House gassed, shot with rubber bullets, so Trump can have Church Photo-OP"

CNN headline. That happened, I saw the gas, they were moved, he went over and did a ridiculous photo op.
