Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

loud speech can emit thousands of oral fluid droplets per second

I guess we should whisper when we're speaking inside. But at a distance of 6 feet, it may be hard to hear. :-/

FINALLY! I've got a family member that has been involved with the clinic for 25 years...I am glad they have flushed out this enemy of the state (America/Terra). Hanging spies is how the founders dealt with these demons...time to break out the gallows and put them to use. ADD: If proven guilty in a court of law.

There is a massive facility being built in the northern US that will dwarf any others of its type for vaccine production. Once the vaccine 'cocktail' has been approved, it will be available in short order. Whether or not its administration is mandated by individual countries or states will become an issue...one of many.

Sanofi says COVID-19 vaccine will be available worldwide simultaneously

I truly enjoy dining out...whether it is local 'dive' where flip flops are OK or the type of place that the water glass is filled as soon as it it put back down on the table and a dinner jacket is required.

The reality is that as long as there are not serious sanitation and food preparation guidelines in place, along with proper disinfecting of ALL surfaces in a place that serves food, the potential for widespread infection is significant. There is a video in the story that gives a demonstration.

I am just going to say it...the food supply chain is breaking...not broken, just breaking. There are going to be shortages, outages and price hikes. Winter should be finished (for the most part) in the Northern Hemisphere so now is the time to get some veggies in the ground...you can't beat a freshly picked tomato!

It's been a long couple of days in my little part of the world...I hope my posts are being read and appreciated for the new/updated information they might contain. I will leave it up to others tonight to continue posting relevant and useful information...may you all have a peaceful and restful night...tomorrow is another day.

At least until a vaccine is made, buffet-style restaurant where guests serve themselves from shared meal trays, should be totally forbidden, just for common sense.

You can bet that if just one person dining on that kind of restaurant is infected with Covid-19, 90% of people eating there simultaneously will leave the restaurant infected with Covid-19.

And that Black Light experiment shows that very well.

And even when a Covid-19 vaccine will be already made, I doubt that kind of restaurants will be working the same way anytime soon.

For (deity) sake!

You obviously STILL HAVE NOT fully read or understood the editorial, STILL HAVE NOT read or understood the reference sources and data, STILL HAVE NOT put it in the context of an evolving infection, are STILL NOT capable of understanding that this is a fluid situation and are STILL NOT capable of understanding that additional data and information changes the understanding of the problem, the issues and the projections - AND it will continue to do so as time passes!

Sounds alot like the T-MAN

Yes, restaurant dining has changed dramatically. I'm in my favorite coffee hangout right now, and it feels safer here than being in the grocery store. Half the tables have been removed, tables are limited to two people, and customers aren't allowed to touch anything -- creamer carafes, etc. When a table empties, the staff thoroughly wipes down the table and the chairs.

Before Covid (BC), customers would stream in and out for hours and you'd rarely see a table get cleaned. So in ways, life seems safer and cleaner than it was before.

Did you know that it's become common knowledge among many people, including Fauci himself - that this is in fact not the case.

You can read what Fauci writes to his colleagues in the New England Journal of Medicine here:

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMe2002387?query=RP

"If one assumes that the number of asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic cases is several times as high as the number of reported cases, the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%. This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively."

- Anthony Fauci MD

Quite the different tone from Fauci when he writes to his colleagues and he isn't on the theatrical stage with the spotlight shining his way eh!?

He'll wind up getting fired too

Wow, comparing me to some entity or human that hurt your parents finances and killed your father? That is not compassionate or logical and about 1000x harsher than anything I've posted.

Not sure what 'compassionate' has to do with it. The way you use your bad reasoning on others, I don't see that as compassionate, either. Calling yourself 'Compassion' doesn't make you so. Actions make you so.

You haven't fully heard my logic, so your trying to rule it out as not being logical doesn't make it so.

1000x harsher? If you want to be taken seriously, you should quit over stating things like that.
Your use of half truths, appeals to authority, hasty generalizations, using unsupported broad brush innuendo, labeling others here with suggestive negative terms for having differing views to your bad reasoning, ...... - that's pretty harsh.

If you want to experience a free consultation at a distance, I may be able to help you reach resolution about that trigger that you mentioned that hasn't been healed.

You may be amazed at the efficacy of distance energy healing,

So the problem is really all mine. lol

Dad's choices were his and I'm good with that. But as a friend likes to say, For evil to prosper only requires that good people say and do nothing.
I won't put myself in the 'good' category, but I don't like seeing evil prosper because I said nothing. So in this instance I'm saying something, that draws on my past.
I won't put you in the 'evil' category, but your reasoning and views aren't pure.

ELON MUSK DROPS SOME TRUTH!? :xf.confused: COVID DEATHS EXAGGERATED!
:xf.eek:

So how many deaths in hospitals have been exaggerated for money? 1,000? 10,000? 100,000? A few hospitals doing it? All hospitals? Is it a big deal? All over? Or not?

Musk has been known to embellish, lie, especially if it can serve an agenda of his.

The guy will say whatever in order to open his factories. There you see, how much he cares about Humanity... as long as he earns monies with his business.
He doesn't care too much if there's an infection explosion in California of covid-19 like in it has been in NYC, as long as his factories don't close.
He just talks like the typical deniers about the covid-19 deaths, denying the numbers.
But be forgets that the real covid-19 death toll is way higher than the one reported by authorities. He forgets that thousands of people dying at their homes or at nursing homes are not counted as covid-19 victims because they simply die without being tested.
The man has taken off his mask. Environment? Humanity? Noooooo BUSINESS.

Yes, Musk spoke a lot of truth there, far more than he usually does..... After all he has that roadster flying in fake CGI space and mocks us all when he says it is so real it is fake....

As a chess piece on the stage - a major one - Musk has his role and occasionally he speaks things as they are...

In this case he spoke the actual truth which is undeniable by anyone who has dug into what is really going and knows what he is saying is happening.

We know health care workers are SECOND to restaurant workers as far as layoffs being handed out.....
:xf.eek:

We know hospitals receive $$$ incentives because of a "COVID" label
:xf.eek:

We know the "test" is flawed and no virus has been isolated resulting in many false +
:xf.eek:

We know Koch's postulates did not get ascertained and quantified regarding COVID (meeting all four criteria designed to establish a causative relationship between a microbe and a disease)
:xf.eek:

We know instinctually that we are being played for fools by this plandemic. (y)

As States Rush to Reopen, Scientists Fear a Coronavirus Comeback

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the task force’s chief medical adviser, has said he expects cases to spike in closed environments like nursing homes, prisons and factories.

We’re not reopening based on science,” said Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, a former director of the C.D.C. in the Obama administration. “We’re reopening based on politics, ideology and public pressure. And I think it’s going to end badly.”

The effects of the reopenings will not be immediately apparent, and in the absence of widespread testing, it will be hard to know where the country stands in the fight against the virus.

It takes two or three weeks for the newly infected who become severely ill to need hospitalization. An initial calm may encourage more Americans to drop their guard or more governors to ease restrictions.

Viruses persist only because they can exploit human interactions: a stray cough, a plume of virions behind a jogger, a bicycle handle no one has disinfected.

When hospitals run short on supplies or ambulances fail to promptly reach victims of pneumonia, heart attacks, strokes or car accidents, many lives may be lost, as happened in New York.

New York has tested more citizens than any other state has — more than twice as many per capita as California, and more than three times as many as Texas. To spot outbreaks early, the Harvard model advocates scaling up, to 20 million tests a day nationwide.

Aftershock: If coronavirus swells in a second wave later this year, will the nation be ready?

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/...ak-america-ready-second-wave-fall/3096338001/

Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, said that if a "big peak" of coronavirus floods hospitals this winter, "we have the potential here to go through days we have not seen since World War II. ... As a nation, we will not be ready."

Definition of virion
(Merriam Webster)
: a complete virus particle that consists of an RNA or DNA core with a protein coat sometimes with external envelopes and that is the extracellular infectious form of a virus

I worry about those virions when I'm out for my daily walks. Most folks don't seem too concerned about them -- joggers will run right by you panting and heaving.

Maybe I should join the people who are walking in empty parking lots. :|

Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine Trial Shows Promising Early Results

The company said a test in 8 healthy volunteers found its experimental vaccine was safe and provoked a strong immune response. It is on an accelerated timetable to begin larger human trials soon.

The first coronavirus vaccine to be tested in people appears to be safe and able to stimulate an immune response against the infection, the manufacturer, Moderna, announced on Monday, offering a glint of hope to a world desperate for ways to stop the pandemic.

The potential strength of Moderna’s mRNA approach to vaccine making is that it uses a genetic framework that can be quickly adapted for each new viral threat. The company has said that it is proceeding on an accelerated timetable, with a second phase of tests involving 600 people to begin soon, and a third phase to begin in July involving thousands of healthy people. The Food and Drug Administration gave Moderna the go-ahead this month for the second phase.

The people vaccinated in Moderna’s Phase 1 study described on Monday were healthy volunteers ages 18 to 55. Their immune systems made antibodies that were then tested in infected cells in the lab, and were able to stop the virus from replicating — the key requirement for an effective vaccine. The levels of those so-called neutralizing antibodies matched or exceeded the levels found in patients who had recovered after contracting the virus in the community.
