During the press conference, the President talked about opening up places in the middle of the country that were not hit hard by the virus. If based on data, it makes sense; no reason to treat every state, geographic region the same.

If NY / NJ stay quarantined; opening TN after no new cases / deaths for a period would be normal.

I actually agree with that, it's the point I've been trying to make in the other thread but we have a few people that act like children when they put their hands over their ears and say na na na na, I can't hear you.

Funny, since one of my rules of thumb for judging whether I can trust someone is.... if they talk about the importance of integrity, that means a 99% chance they are a crook. The same rules apply to those who talk about being a good Christian businessman.

So the governor of our fair state, Iowa, has now declared all non-essential stores closed until 4-7. Also extending bars and restaurants and casinos and some others businesses to 4-7 also
THus, think on this:
Can not go shopping for furniture EXCEPT at Wal mart or Taget.
Can not go shopping for jewelry EXCEPT at walmart or target.
For we must move the small crowds that do shop at furniture and jewelry stores to the big crowds that go to walmart and target.
Governor says by doing this, eliminating non-essential stores, it will slow down a slowing train of cases. That the crowds at these stores will be safe from now on, not having to deal with all the crowds at those stores.
I am thinking, walmart and target must be paying someone big bucks so they can stay open.

Now, in truth.....
Except for restaurants closed?
Except for dumbass management who closed off our community room and tv room (thus no more coffee meetings and potlucks)?
Life for us is the same now as back in February.

The media worrying about misinformation is like the Mafia worrying about crime. - Jesse Waters.

CNN &NBC not showing President's press conferences. In truth, his rating are getting too high and the more they talk, their rating sink.

New York Times Blames Evangelical Christians for Coronavirus
The New York Times published an op-ed Friday that blamed evangelical Christians for the coronavirus pandemic.

The argument, by journalist and author Katherine Stewart, is that because religious voters supported Trump, that means he governs without regard for science.

Another hateful attack on Trump and those who voted for him. This is not what the free press is supposed to be. Their accusations are completely baseless and dangerous...
