Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship

Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I thought Corona would be a positive for Virtual Reality. I have noticed GD appraisals have gone up for VR domains. We'll have to see for the real world.

With the coronavirus, we could see the demand for virtual reality content increase substantially, but with China out of production, there could be a shortage on hardware. Catch 22. If I had to pick one niche right now, I think education has the most potential. Schools are shutting down all over the world. If the coronavirus continues for the next year, students could be out of school for much longer than anticipated. VR Classrooms could be the future for many students. I could see governments backing VR (they might be forced to) and fund/provide headsets to students.

Indeed. I was thinking the same thing. This will probably steer many toward a virtual learning environment. ...and perhaps tourism.

Yep, the current world events are absolutely going to create demand for virtual reality. The demand will be here, but is the technology here?

I guess if there was chance that Covid19 was going to be around for years, then our names would certainly increase in value, but this virus wont be around long, the same as every virus outbreak we get. If you can sell a VR name now because of the virus, I would sell it quick.

Lets hope we see the end of the sooner rather than later.

I think this event will awaken peoples’ curiosities about the potential uses for VR. Maybe some sales opportunities will come in the short term. But I think there will be meetings and funding granted for projects in the longer term as a result of this crisis.

And people who are looking for stimulation while spending time indoors will start paying closer attention to the products and services offered.

We’re all thinking it, I’m sure.

wait for THE Half-life alyx is over(almost)

Can't wait for Half-Life. Anything released from Valve is pretty much guaranteed to be incredible. They have been known to cancel games after years of development, only because they didn't reach the standard of quality they set.

VrPorn1.com

Numbers are generally not valuable additions to domain names. I would stop regging names if this is the caliber of name that remains at this point in time.
