My partner and I are hoping to start investing some money in the domain flipping but, we can not decide which domain registrar to chose.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I like Dynadot and NameSilo. Very simple.

There are other good ones, but maybe more complicated back ends.

I like that dynadot let's you cancel a registration and receive a partial refund. I also like dynadot and namesilo renewal grace period. GD is tough on renewals. The GoDaddy timeline is fast and expensive.

Choose like it is going to be your wife for life. Good suggestions so far but work out what you want to achieve as every registrar has its advantages for the money. Flipping instantly would be Godaddy or Namesilo for a vote. But question you need to ask yourself is about representation whether to make own landing pages or whether you want other services also. Plenty of others for the reseller platform where it doesn't matter where they are registered.

Epik.com and godaddy.com
'
Yes to Epik.
No to Godaddy (Sadly still need a GD account, cuz they control 80% market)

Godaddy is anti-beginners Lol, cost $18 .com renewal unless pay monthly

Epik you dont need to pay monthly for VIP, at-cost .com pricing.

You still need a GoDaddy if you want to be serious about domain investing...

They are everywhere.... (Need one to accept domain push.. then i get away asap)

I have had domains over 20 years and I have been forced to move due to registrars being shut down in past more than once which is why I think the way I do.

Well, I was like you a few months back. I would suggest you keep your options open for all. No registrar is bad, they just have their own policies. Every registrar will give you tempting offers now and then. You have to be smart enough to grab them.

If you are starting a business then trust me you will have your accounts with every major registrar possible. Start with anyone you want and slowly when push and domain transfers will happen you will be on all.

Godaddy is not my favorite but as Samer stated, you will need an account with them to get expired domains, auctions, etc Dynadot is very user friendly, Epik is also great and i'm planning to transfer most of my domains there.

The cheapest the best. The service is the second concern. For different TLDs, they has different price in register and renewal, so I recommend the tld-list.com for beginner domain investor, it can see most TLDs' price. For .com, just input tld-list.com/tld/com in your browser and you could see which register is the best, the TLD-List.com also shows the register details.
