Do you speak German?

.ge is the cctld for Georgia
German customers typically buy .com, .de, .at, and .ch
.....and dont forget the hyphen!!!

Personally I find them confusing
But they do sell
I suggest you make a list of similar word domains and check namebio for past sales

.de is the country code Germany uses , catching them off drop is as hard as catching a .com of the same value, maybe even harder. if you can get nice one and two word .de domains, they do trade very well. they are a hard catch though.

Sedo is the best venue for .de IMO

for Germany you want .de
.com is only a good choice
if the customer acts internationally

Doesn't seem like the best strategy, hoping someone thinks GE is Germany, and therefore buys the domain. But good luck with that.

I agree with u it's not a strategy, the aim is not too vague but to find a cheaper alternative .where a win-win deal could be done.

How many German companies are currently using .ge?

.ge is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Georgia

in Germany nobody with an intact fully functional brain will want to buy it

Cheaper alternative for what?
For burning your money for as much useless stuff as you can?
Or for making some profit in the end?
Ask yourself this question.

I dont want to sound overly critical
But anyone can sell a domain for 13,200$
Again, ask the question - how many German companies are using .com.de domains?
Id never heard of that extension or seen it before reading your post...
...and Ive been to Germany many times and speak conversational German
I always look for the domains German companies use
At a guess 80% is .de, 19% .com, 1% other
...and they 😍 hyphens!!!

Same for Sweden
.se, .nu works too and .com is becoming more popular because of the big companies like Ericsson.

Honestly I think that any Stock Exchange would be able to pay for whatever name they want.

With all the things people have to remember each day like 10 passwords, appointments, checking 100's of emails, social interaction etc... Are they really going to enjoy having to look for say stockexchan.ge or will they type stockexchange.com?
