Hello! I just sold my first domain at dan.com so from now I don’t know what to do, a kind of bot in a chat window talks but doesn’t seems help me much. I need to transfer my domain which is in namebright but don’t know to where or how.

I spent some time looking for help about this but couldn’t find it. Can you help me please what to do? Thanks in advance.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
What's the "bot" asking you?
You also should be able to ask anything and someone from Dan will reply within a few hours

After confirming payment the DANbot will ask how you wish to move the domain and the two options are an account push or transfer. State your method and things will progress along.

You do know what a push and transfer is, yeah?

Bot is probably asking you to choose between push or transfer. Then it asks for auth code or to push into dan escrow account on your registrar. Just follow the instructions.
Congrats btw, and don't panic :)

the bot doesn't give me any isntructions just says me:
Payment received
We have received ******* payment. Can you please inform us where the domain is currently registered and if you prefer a domain push or transfer?

And then I replied "push" but nothing happens...

You need to reply with current registrar ie namebright and then push or transfer as per your wish.

And wait for further instructions... they will send you their account to push domain.

How can a bot reply when you send it a reply "push" without mentioning the registrar 🤔

Did you reply both the name of registrar (making sure spelled right!) and whether push or transfer? If you noticed you had something wrong, simply enter in window again the correct information like both registrar and push.

Sometimes there is a little delay, but if you did, you should be fine. It will subsequently give you push instructions where it is at. A human does take over if for some reason the bot does not succeed in communication with you, but normally it works. Congrats on the sale!

Thank you all for your suggestion, well it's time to see "if bot reply me", yes i put correctly registar and push mode. But I am surprised a lot and not familiarized with this kind of sales that is being managed with a "bot" that doesn't explain clearly commands or at least reply with wrong-on progess-accepted-...

Strange, in my recent experience (BIN sale) there were two buttons in the chat after bots first message - "Push internally" and "Transfer out". I didn't have to reply/type anything. After I clicked "push internally" bot gave me escrow account at correct registrar and all I had to do is push the domain.

It is just a simple 'automated messaging' system used by DAN. They expect you to know the basics in regards domain transfers and pushes. (If you don't, best you make yourself familiar with the processes)

All replies are automatically sent to the buyer in regards to your preference to a Push or Transfer. I personally find it easier to offer and allow both options to the buyer. Do remember to include the current register in your reply.

Within one business day you should receive the instructions for the transfer

Hmmm that was not my experience in the last DAN sale I had with the bot a few months ago. I wonder if the registrar where it is affects what you are shown? I like the way you describe, but that was not what happened to me last time (the domain was at Namecheap for mine). I entered text and it sent text back, after a delay which I don't understand. The text was not much different than what I had seen for transfers at DAN prior to the bot taking over the transaction.

Yeah, my experience first time also. Here were those 2 buttons in this screenshot where I draw arrow. Then buttons dissapeared and it converted my click into message "push internally".
