discuss Cross language domain names

Cross language domain names, or more simply a domain name which uses more than one language as a domain name, or even using the domain extension.

I had a scenario whereby two different languages returned a higher auto appraised value than just using one language for the same domain name. The value was many times more in fact.

Is it just me, or does anybody else see a market for, or indeed a need for cross language domain names.

Thank you for your reply. Do you not see the language of other countries creeping into your own language. Afterall, the World is becoming smaller as we type and more barriers or boundaries are being crossed on a daily basis.

I used the cross language domains as examples only and absolutely no thought went into them also.

I see that there might be some future uses when all the English language Dot.coms are all taken or too expensive for every day people.
