I am seeing a lot of people put cheap price in the title of there thread then it encourages me to go there then I click and see thread and the prices are super high, like $1,000 for a domain that might only be worth $100 or less. Does it make you guys angry when you see that? Aren't they wasting our time by saying cheap price & getting us to click it then having high price?

I agree with you, but some domain names can be catchy and brandable but in price very nice or cheap.
like this domain names:

Doesn't make me angry...I just wonder what happened in their life to make them act that way. My go to thought is that they were probably deprived of oxygen at birth and as a result their brain malfunctions on a regular basis. Only their ob/gyn will know for sure...

However, let me add, their name might have a value that we don't recognize...also, if you don't ask for a high number, you will not get a high number...

Easily demonstrated/proven in DNJournal's weekly sales report. Every week I see domains that go for FAR more than my tiny brain can understand and many others that go for much less than I would have expected. Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder - or dn owner or buyer.

I usually don’t click through on those, if someone needs a sales pitch to sell a domain name, that means the name is not getting much love from anyone, which usually means it is a somewhat shitty name.IMO

It annoys me as well.

Same thing when they say "ultra premium domain list", then you see two word .xyz domains and CCCCC.com

I don't know who this "marketing trick" works on but surely not on bright people.

Don't get me started on the "offer valid only today!!!" and "received a $20 000 offer, now willing to sell for $100" bullshit.

I struggle to understand what kind of person falls for this.

The posters' definition of 'cheap' might actually be $1000.

$1000 is cheap compared to $1M lol.

but I know where you are coming from.

I'm thinking of buying the new Genesis G80

It's pretty cheap compared to an S-Class

Cheap - I guess the definition is relative to each person, and what market range they are shopping in.
