I went to look up any past sales history in namebio ( https://namebio.com ) and they do not even have this extension listed. The last us.com sale was in 2017 as a slight comparison.....

The extension is awful you are going to struggle with this imo - list it on Sedo, Afternic and DAN if you get no enquiries after 12 months let it drop. If you are just starting out, stick to .com

As a new extension you might have a chance of a reseller bidding on it - list it as make offer and see what happens, but keep your expectations in check

Thanks, already have it on DAN and SEDO (pending verification). I'm not sure about the Make Offer option though but it's currently on both sites for $49 and I think the offer option is available too. Do you think I'd have a better chance if I get rid of the Buy It Now?

Also, I think your advice of sticking to .com is probably best for me. There's way too many TLDs now but few of them are good quality.

personally would keep it at make offer with no minimum bid, you never know someone might come in with a slightly higher offer than your $49. Try it for 6 months and if you have no offers set it at a low BIN.

Don't forget to list at Afternic.......

I have been up since 3.10am here in the UK and succumbed to an impulse registration. First time I have done it in quite while >:( :dead::xf.cry:

Just regged cannabis.us.org for £20 - complete punt in this shi*ty extension.....sleep deprivation is not a good thing,,

Haha, same. I'm in the UK too and that was an impulse reg. It was the only eco domain available so I thought it would have had some demand. But seems like .us.org is incredibly shitty lol (maybe just too new?, Idk)

Now to decide if I should go to sleep or just stay awake haha

Also, I think it didn't allow me to add .us.org on Afternic, I'll try again though

I am on East Coast American time -calling Boston at the moment for work so start at 1pm and work through until 9pm - 10.30pm plays havoc with the body clock will be (hopefully) getting a nap mid morning when the kids go to school....

I you are new try to stick to .coms to start with a don't do what I and the majority of people do and going on some mad registration splurge - look to the Aftermarket. https://www.expireddomains.net is good place to take a look.

Also would highly recommend reading the below threads a few times before getting anymore names....will save you a lot of money in the long term....

Damn, working in a different timezone is something I'd never be able to do. Good luck :)

I've taken a quick look at it earlier but maybe I should take a better look rather than a quick glance. I haven't really splurged yet (don't really have the funds to) but hopefully I can prevent further mistakes. Thanks again :) really do appreciate it

Looked at the expired domains and found 0amd.com, it's 4 characters, albeit not LLLL but seems decent?
Although, the AMD could be subject to a UDRP? What are your thoughts @MrAcidic ?

A bit risky asking about an unregistered domain but I guess I don't lose anything either way

Good thread on this below - I can't comment as I know nothing about 4 character domains and have no wish learn :xf.wink: do not invest in anything you don't understand would be my takeaway.....
