Epik has been incubating an alternative to EventBrite at the request of an Epik client who was booted by EventBrite and for which they found EventBrite's 10% commissions to be too high as well as wanted the ability to accept crypto as payment method. We are now finalizing the brand name and would like to invite some domain industry input on name selection.

Interesting thought. I tried the .cc and it's forwarding to amazon.com. Quickly tried pulling up some images of amazon using amazon.cc, but none were readily apparent. The 1st images shown were amazon credit cards. Is that where the .cc is being used by them? To stand for their credit card?

I've been into Ries' (and Trout, his ex-partner) works for some years. If you haven't already found it, try also Ries' site for some additional and current thoughts - ries.com
That was a typo. I meant country-code extensions. Such American homegrown brands.. once they start expanding globally, they keep the .com for home markets country code extensions for other regions like .ca & in.

Thanks for the ries tip.

The original or A1 for me. I'm actually not keen on A3 at all - the colours take me back to the 80's...
Just my 2c worth.

A3 is my 2nd pick.

I like A1 best.
Actually I missed the first set of examples and I like A8 better but with a different font, one that isn't all caps.

Alert !!

I see the exact same logo on shutterstock. Why would you use the same stock image to make a logo ?

I am not sure shutterstock will give you exclusive logo rights. It might have been purchased by someone else too. Also doesnt make a good impression if the logo was copied off a stock images site.

Better to design an own fresh new logo concept. You will able to get the trademark and control the brand.

Sorry for blowing it off. I am really liking what Epik is upto with its products. Would not be cool to get stuck in such legal issues which affect the brand.

Well maybe I should listen to my gut more often cause I just changed my mind to the original A8.
